Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - Eric Chou 周興哲 (Eric), the "Asian King of Music Creation 亞洲創作天王" completed his three-day 《Odyssey旅程巡迴演唱會》concert in Kuala Lumpur on the evening of 4th June 2023. Eric hadn't performed in Malaysia in five years due to the pandemic, and he missed his Malaysian fans terribly. The overwhelming support from local fans resulted in the immediate sell-out of two shows in Kuala Lumpur, and an additional show was also quickly sold out! Eric Chou arrived in Malaysia several days before the concert, especially to express his gratitude to the Odyssey Journey Kuala Lumpur ticket holders. On 30th May 2023, he held a free meet-and-greet event that drew nearly 5,000 fans. Eric Chou took song requests at the event, interacted with everyone enthusiastically, and even ended up singing the equivalent of an additional half-concert. This demonstrates Eric's enthusiasm for returning to Malaysia after such a long absence!

Furthermore, Eric Chou's Odyssey Journey Tour concert in Kuala Lumpur was filled with excitement and emotion. Not only was the stage design and special effects significantly improved, but his management company 星空飛騰 also added a special surprise - a limited edition four-sided mini stage was set up at the Kuala Lumpur venue. This caught the fans sitting directly across from the main stage completely off guard. When Eric performed "You Don't Belong to Me 《你不屬於我》" the entire 10,000-person crowd sang along from start to finish, deeply touching Eric. "I'm addicted to the feeling of this four-sided stage!" he told the audience. He also joked, "I just love the feeling of being surrounded by you all!" The fans were overjoyed, erupting in a deafening scream that shook the entire venue! Eric was considerate of fans in every corner and decided to go a step further, interacting with fans on the third floor at close quarters, at this moment, the four-sided mini stage elevated to the third-floor viewing area. After finishing the song "《愛我的時候》When You Loved Me,"the audience was so excited that Eric, overcome with emotion, picked up his phone and began playing a screaming game with the audience, screamed wherever he pointed his camera. He stated that he would share this emotional video on Instagram. The cheers of the fans filled the Axiata arena as soon as he started filming, almost blowing the roof off!

There was originally a segment at the beginning of Eric Chou's 周興哲《Odyssey旅程巡迴演唱會》 concert where Eric would take off his shirt to reveal his youthful physique. However, when the tour came to Malaysia, he was unable to participate due to local restrictions. Surprisingly, after Eric played and sang a song on his guitar, the audience began chanting for him to remove his shirt. The roar of the crowd chanting "take it off!" was overwhelming.

Eric, on the other hand, urged his fans to be good, saying, "Be good! We must abide by the rules." He also "revealed a secret," stating that while he couldn't go shirtless in Malaysia, the company had prepared deep V-neck shirts for him to wear at the Kuala Lumpur stop. "Isn't that a sincere gesture?" he asked the audience. The audience reacted with a resounding "Yes!"

However, the fans continued to chant for him to open his shirt more. "I was just singing so romantically," Eric said shyly, "and all you guys want is for me to take my clothes off." Despite this, he complied with their requests and slightly opened his shirt, eliciting loud cheers from the audience and fans yelling, "More, more!"

"Then, everyone, please come to Singapore at the end of the year!"  A male fan even exclaimed, "Husband!" causing the entire venue to burst out laughing. The energy level was extremely high!

Furthermore, Eric Chou thanked his fans for enthusiastically singing along and turning his concert into a massive KTV session. He mentioned having his own private song list when he goes karaoke with friends. When he asked the audience whose songs they usually sing at karaoke, someone immediately said, "Yours!" This delighted Eric!

THE MPO PRESENTS 'FAMILY FILM FAVOURITES' CONCERTS AT DFP!

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) celebrates its 25th anniversary with Family Film Favourites, a series of family-themed concerts that combine the magic of the silver screen with the enchanting music of a 'live' orchestra on Saturday, 17 June 2023 at 11.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS, KLCC.

These concerts will be made even more memorable by the presence of a young Malaysian conductor, Jebat Arjuna Kee Jia Liang, on the podium. He will weave his magic with the MPO to transport the audience into a world of immersive film music through renowned and popular compositions meant to entertain audiences of all ages. Jebat, who is currently a violist with the MPO, has previously conducted the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, DC, the Charleston and Makris Symphony Orchestras, the Illinois Lyric Theatre, Milikin Opera Theatre, and the University of Illinois Philharmonia Orchestra. He received his Master of Music in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he studied with Donald Schleicher. As a violist, he has performed at numerous summer festivals in the United States. He is also a chamber musician and a supporter of new music.

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - I had the privilege of witnessing the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra's (MPO)"Family Film Favourites" orchestra, which was a wonderful event full with energy and passion from start to finish.

Jebat Arjuna Kee Jia Liang, a bright young Malaysian conductor who performed with the MPO, effectively conducted the show. His command of the orchestra transported the audience in an immersive world of film music, enthralling audiences of all ages. It was inspiring to see his enthusiasm and expertise as he led the orchestra.

The appearance of Alasdair Malloy, a popular presenter who added an extra layer of excitement, was one of the show's highlights. Alasdair's interactions with the audience were delightful, and his willingness to dress up in "minions" costumes from Despicable Me brought joy and laughter to everyone.

The performance began with the legendary "20th Century Fox Fanfare" quickly setting the tone for a cinematic experience. As the legendary lion emerged on the screen, Alasdair even encouraged the audience to roar, setting the tone for the enthralling spectacle that followed.

The "Movie Magic Medley" was a real treat for moviegoers, containing mesmerising medleys from well-known films like Star Wars, Harry Potter, Superman, and others. While the Star Wars and Harry Potter segments were cut short in this medley, fans should not be concerned because extended versions of these legendary series were presented later in the evening.

The rendition of "Remember Me" from the animated film Coco was one of my personal highlights of the show. The beautiful music touched my soul, and I found myself shedding tears as I appreciated the emotional depth of the piece.

Alasdair took the time to introduce the instruments utilised in several films, emphasising their presence in the Disney picture Moana in particular. This was followed by an orchestral performance of "Moana: Musical Highlights" which featured three lovely tunes from the film. It was a joy to hear the orchestrated versions of "You're Welcome".

A fascinating interactive part called "The Cunningly Conceived Concealed Cartoon Character Quiz" was added to the show. Each musician was introduced one by one on stage, and the audience was asked to guess the instruments used, the songs played, and the character linked with the song. Songs from classic Disney films such as The Jungle Book, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Mary Poppins, The Lion King, and Toy Story were featured in the part.

The beautiful tunes of "Hero of Hogwarts," containing music from the first three Harry Potter films, were treated to Potterheads. It was a truly enchanting moment that transported us to the wizarding world.

The medley "A Frozen Fantasy" brought back the enchantment of the popular animation Frozen, with favorites like "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" and the powerful anthem "Let It Go." The crowd, particularly the children, couldn't help but sing along and immerse themselves in the enchanting world of Frozen.

To add to the joyous atmosphere, the orchestra presented a lively crossover of "Everything Is Awesome Because We're Happy," combining songs from The Lego Movie and Despicable Me. This confluence of happiness and positivism raised everyone's emotions in the room.

Thai hunks Wow and Dee make their Malaysian debut, joking that their dance routines can't be too spectacular.

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 – TastefullyFood Expo, organised by Tastefully Malaysia and supported by Jinro, took place from 9th June 2023 – 11th June 2023 at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. The organisers requested Wow (Sarawut Siriphet) and Dee (Veerasak Mahsahaao), the popular "hunk" managers of the seafood restaurant "Staneemeehoi" in Bangkok, Thailand, to join and support the event in Malaysia to make it more interesting.

Wow and Dee attended the opening ceremony on the morning of the 10th June 2023, which was followed by Thai cuisine cooking demos and a fan meet-up, which drew a large crowd. The couple, dressed in tight white T-shirts, instantly established the tone, even performing a brief dance highlighting their powerful physique. They talked with several lucky participants and gladly took photographs with fans during the event, in addition to displaying their cooking skills on stage by creating tom yum soup.

Wow and Dee communicated in Mandarin, English, and Malay with little need for translation. Dee, in particular, demonstrated his language talents and took leadership of the talks, while his companion Wow talked less, allowing Dee to criticise him in Mandarin, stating, "He has no brains." He can't converse, despite his stunning appearance. "I have brains, I can talk, and I look good," they said, entertaining the audience.

Although Wow and Dee are well-known in Malaysia, they insist, "We hope that everyone does not regard us as celebrities." We're just regular people selling meals. The most essential thing is to make everyone happy." They were known for their fun dance performances in their Thai restaurant, but due to cultural differences in Malaysia, they had to be more restricted in their dance techniques on stage. They recited "little bit not too much" while dancing. "If we dance too much," Dee quipped, "we might not be able to come back next time."

The Thai hunk quintet was invited to make their debut in Malaysia during the fasting month of Ramadan in March of this year, but their presentation was cancelled due to controversy. Dee admits to being saddened at the time, but stated his joy at finally being in Malaysia and receiving a warm welcome from Malaysian fans. He also expressed interest in bringing the full hunk group to Malaysia, adding, "As long as you invite us, we can fly here anytime." Wow added with a smile that the flight from Thailand to Malaysia is only two hours long, making it incredibly handy.

《福禄寿十五十六巡回演唱会–马来西亚站》将于2023年10月28日（星期六）在云顶世界云星剧场隆重登场。这次演唱会标志着由王祖蓝、阮兆祥和李思捷组成的“福禄寿”时隔5年后重返马来西亚与大马粉丝再度相聚。

王祖蓝、阮兆祥和李思捷在各自的演艺事业中取得了非凡的个人成就，他们的才华使得“福禄寿”成为备受瞩目的组合。他们的组合源自于广受欢迎的喜剧节目《娱乐三兄弟》中，与阿姐汪明荃一起扮演“荃加福禄寿”，通过荧幕上的互动和完美的喜剧默契赢得了观众的高度关注。
