[Entertainment News] The 25th Udine Far East Film Festival 2023 has chosen "Coast Guard Malaysia: Ops Helang" and "Abang Adik" for the competition section

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - Pitt Hanif’s “Coast Guard Malaysia: Ops Helang” and Jin Ong’s “Abang Adik” have been officially selected for competition at the 25th Udine Far East Film Festival (FEFF) in Italy. "Coast Guard Malaysia: Ops Helang" will be screened at an international festival for the first time, from April 21 to April 29, 2023.

"Abang Adik," Jin Ong's first feature film, won two awards at the 37th Fribourg International Film Festival (FIFF)."I feel very honoured to receive the awards, and I'm so glad I could bring a Malaysian film to share with them," Jin Ong said.

"We are so proud and honoured to represent Malaysia in this 25th edition on behalf of all Malaysian filmmakers."  "We wish you all the best!""Coast Guard Malaysia: Ops Helang" producers stated.

As the festival partner of Udine FEFF, Malaysia International Film Festival (MIFFest) founder Joanne Goh stated, "We are honoured to have these two films selected in FEFF." These films have had a lot of success and can do a good job of representing Malaysia. It is an honour for Malaysian films to be recognised by the FEFF. After two years of collaboration with FEFF, we hope to continue building a long-term relationship between Malaysia and Italy."

MIFFest and FEFF have both delivered positive results this year. They have organised special screenings of Malaysian films and facilitated interactions between filmmakers in order to promote the concept of "From East To West." MIFFest has also pledged to support local films so that more people from all over the world can appreciate the beauty and significance of Malaysian cinema.

The first year of collaboration with MIFFest, according to Sabrina Baracetti, festival director of FEFF, was a resounding success. Last year, FEFF had the opportunity to visit Malaysia as part of MIFFest, gaining valuable insight into the country's culture and film industry. Their goal for this year is to build a cultural bridge between Malaysia and Europe, using culture as a tool to gain a better understanding of the world.

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - Dream Theatre, a Boston-based band, will be appearing in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore to meet fans.

Kuala Lumpur and Singapore will be among the cities they visit as part of their Top Of The World tour. Shiraz Projects is proud to bring the 1985-founded band to The Star Theatre in Singapore on the 9th of May 2023, and Zepp Kuala Lumpur on the 10th of May 2023.

It is an honour for Shiraz Projects to be a part of the Top Of The World tour, which begins in Seoul, Korea and travels through several countries before ending in Indonesia. "Shiraz Projects believes that Dream Theatre fans have been waiting a long time to see them perform again, and we are thrilled to bring Top Of The World to Dream Theatre fans in Malaysia and Singapore," said Shirazdeen Karim, CEO of Shiraz Projects.

Dream Theatre wrapped up their UK 2023 tour on February 21 and resumed touring on April 26 in Seoul. They then toured Japan, performing three shows in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka before heading to Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Dream Theatre previously performed in Kuala Lumpur in September 2017, and their return, which will feature James La Brie (vocals), John Petrucci (guitar), John Myung (bass), Jordan Rudess (keyboard), and Mike Mangini (drums), is always highly anticipated, particularly among rock and metal music fans.

Dream Theatre is well-known for their musical precision. Their music composition is regarded as progressive, complex, and dense, owing primarily to Petrucci's guitar playing, who also serves as their "mastermind." Petrucci is regarded as one of the world's greatest guitarists. In 2009, he was ranked second as the Best Metal Guitar Player in the book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists.

"A View From The Top Of The World," Dream Theater's most recent album, was released last year and is their first project recorded in their own studio, Dream Theatre Headquarters. With the same title, they have toured many countries, including Malaysia and Singapore, to meet their fans.

Dream Theatre is reportedly planning their 16th studio album, which will be released after "A View From The Top Of The World" at the end of 2021. Regarding new music, Petrucci stated that they are still working on it but that he and the band members do not expect to be in the studio anytime soon.

He did, however, confirm that they would be recording their new album later this year. The new album follows the release of their 15th studio album, "A View From The Top Of The World," in 2021. At the 64th Grammy Awards in 2022, the song "The Alien" from the album won their first Grammy Award in the category of Best Metal Performance. According to a press release, the album "A View From The Top Of The World" is "Dream Theatre at its musical finest." This is consistent with the evolution of the sound they created while retaining the old and new elements that are also valued by their fans worldwide.

The seven-song album also serves as their second studio album collaboration with InsideOut Music/Sony Music. "A View From The Top Of The World" was produced by Petrucci and featured James "Jimmy T" Meslin as engineer and producer, as well as Andy Sneap for mixing and mastering.

 [Coverage] 《484搞疯会S2》「茶室吹水王」Press Conference

Kuala Lumpur, April 2023 - The second season of 《484搞疯会》a debate variety show created by the Astro 中文部, returns with a new look as the "Tea Room Chatting King 「茶室吹水王」" The debate battlefield is relocated to a tea room this time, allowing the audience to sit in front of the TV as if they were listening to people converse in a tea room. Led by the first season's leader, 李欣怡 who plays the tea room owner, 16 debaters dressed in 1980s retro attire compete for the title of "Tea Room Chatting King." The show also invited popular online singers siblings JE 庞琂予 and Gaston Pong庞加斯顿 to produce the theme song titled, 《叫我吹水王》.

During the press conference, host 李欣怡 and the guests and debaters discussed their filming experiences. According to Yoon 吴家润, the program's props, from the background setting to the snacks in the grocery store scene, were all authentic. Rasyidah 拉丝达, a Malay presenter who is well-versed in Mandarin language revealed that she usually values harmony and avoids arguing with others. To prepare herself for this program, she even had arguments with her coworkers and practised debating alone to hone her debating skills, almost causing her to have a split personality.

Many of the guests admitted that they are not used to arguing in their daily lives, so they spent a lot of time preparing for the show. Hishiko, a tattoo artist and YouTuber, had insomnia for weeks before filming and even had amnesia afterwards, almost unable to remember what happened during the filming process. Estee also stated that her character ‘Ong Kar Ling 王佳琳’ in another TV show is lively and chatty, but she is shy in real life. MC Maq Lai joked that his height was meaningless in front of a group of professional debaters, and he was frequently outmatched by lawyer debater QiuHua 郑秋桦. Amber Chia, a famous Malaysian model, also revealed that she was moved to tears during the show and praised the debaters for their hard work, claiming that she had become "addicted" to debating.

The Cantonese slang term "blowing water" refers to casual conversation, which can be used to connect neighbours, friends, and colleagues and exchange ideas. The second season of 《484搞疯会》 aims to make serious debates more commonplace: as long as one's thoughts are clear and organised, anyone can "blow water." The show stars YouTuber Lucas 卢卡斯 as the tea room waiter, who also has a debating background, in addition to 李欣怡 as the host. They and the debaters have casual conversations and discussions with various guests. Each debate topic is given 10 minutes in which the debaters must use their wits and tongues to persuade the on-site diners.

Twelve of the 16 debaters are from the first season, including the champion of the first season, Qiu-hua 郑秋桦, lawyer debater Bing Yew 郑秋桦, 阿Lock, comedian and social media creator Meeki 吴美錡, versatile online celebrity Dior大颖, lawyer and intelligent 慧玲, social media anchor 小桃、有洭, primary school teacher 国兴, law student 郑稳, Chat show anchor 嘉雯, and real estate agent 嘉妤. Four new debaters have also been added, including YouTuber 林尚进, radio DJ Der Ting 德廷 ,  黄程凯, and middle school student debater Fiona Jane. The 16 debaters also introduced themselves through rap, which was turned into a music video, which debuted at the press conference.

In addition to the debaters, each episode's production team will invite celebrities or artists from television, radio, debate, politics, music, and other fields to serve as "special guest diners" (guest judges).

Furthermore, Gaston wrote and composed the theme song 《叫我吹水王》sung by the 碰碰姐弟. Apart from satirizing contemporary Malaysian local culture and current affairs issues with a witty tone, the lyrics also define "blowing water" as "speaking effortlessly and being able to talk about any topic." It also advises the audience to conduct research before leaving a message and to be cautious in their comments. Furthermore, the MV invited debaters and diners to act out common teahouse scenes in which they can freely speak and spread information. The siblings even included a funny rap segment at the end of the video. On March 22, the theme song 《叫我吹水王》was released on YouTube. Gaston also revealed at the press conference that his love life frequently appears in his songs, and he hinted that he will have breakthroughs and big revelations in the programme. The show has received such positive feedback from viewers that the production team has decided to create a second season. From the perspective of "chatting culture," the show will look at current events, livelihoods, family relationships, employment, and some interesting topics that are often discussed among friends or in tea rooms, such as "Can you take angry words said during an argument seriously?", "Is it wrong to be envious of others' success?", "Is it wrong not to reply to your boss after work hours?", and "Is age anxiety a bad thing?" and so forth.

When they discover the suspect's personal connection to Inspector Khai's dark past, their friendship is put to the test.

"Scammer Geng Marhaban" is a comedy set in a village community with a heist theme and deception. This series is directed by Waan Hafiz, who previously directed the Gempak Original Series "Beriani Gam Kak Aspalela" last year and stars the talented young actor Amir Ahnaf, who is best known for his role as Kahar in the premium drama "High Council" from Astro Originals.

This eight-part series follows two siblings, Aidil and Adib, who are not on the same page. But when their mother, Hjh Quyah, falls victim to a scam while attempting to keep her position as President of the Marhaban Association, Aidil and Adib set out to find the mastermind who duped their mother. Many incidents occur along the way, including a love triangle between Aidil, Adib, and a girl.

Aidil, Amir Ahnaf's character, first appeared as a "rider" in the Anugerah Gempak Most Wanted in March and quickly went viral on social media. As a result, the "rider" character was developed in this series, and McDonald's became the series' primary sponsor.

In addition to Amir, this Sham Hashim-written series stars newcomers such as Lorenzo Irmann and Qistina Khaled, as well as veteran actors such as Ozlynn, Watie Sadali, and Che Kem. Raja Azura and Zahid AF make cameo appearances as well. The filming took place over a course of 17 days in Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor.

Watak Aidil yang dilakonkan oleh Amir Ahnaf muncul selepas kemunculan istimewa sebagai 'rider' di Anugerah Gempak Most Wanted pada Mac lalu. Rentetan daripada itu, watak 'rider' tersebut dikembangkan dalam siri ini dan menjadikan jenama McDonald's sebagai penaja utama.

Selain Amir, siri tulisan Sham Hashim ini turut dibintangi oleh wajah-wajah baru seperti pempengaruh terkenal Lorenzo Irmann dan Qistina Khaled, serta pelakon berpengalaman seperti Ozlynn, Watie Sadali dan Che Kem. Terdapat juga penampilan istimewa oleh Raja Azura dan Zahid AF. Penggambaran dilakukan di Sekinchan, Kuala Selangor selama 17 hari.

Syazwan Zakariah, Ketua Content Studio Astro, menyatakan bahawa "Gempak Originals" berkomitmen untuk menyajikan kandungan yang bukan sahaja berkualiti tinggi dan menghiburkan, tetapi juga relevan dengan masyarakat kita.  [Explore] One Piece “The Great Era Of Piracy” Asia Tour Exhibition

Kuala Lumpur, May 2023 - My wife, daughter, and I were overjoyed to learn that the One Piece "The Great Era of Piracy" Asia Tour Exhibition is happening at Resorts World Genting in Malaysia. As die-hard One Piece fans, we knew we couldn't pass up this chance to immerse ourselves in the world of our favourite Straw Hat Pirates.

We were blown away by the 21 thematic, iconic zones and life-size sculptures as soon as we entered the 25,000 square foot display space. We began by playing the enhanced zones filled with interactive AR activities and collecting game scores. We liked how the smartphone gaming apps tracked our scores throughout all game zones, making it more interactive and competitive.

As we walked through the exhibition, we discovered several zones that allowed us to relive the One Piece story. We were brought back into the world of One Piece, from the Gol D Roger execution scene to the Straw Hat "Nakama""X" scenario to the wanted posters for the Straw Hat crew. We were ecstatic to see familiar arcs such as Enies Lobby, Marineford, Fishman Island, Dressrosa, and even the latest Wano arc against Kaido.

The Wano Zone, which featured funfair games inspired on the Wano arc, was definitely one of the favourite aspects of the exhibition. We can see that the visitors had a lot of fun playing these games and some won some limited-edition goods, which was a nice bonus.

Finally, there is a zone at the end of the exhibition area where we could buy limited edition One Piece stuff that was only available at the venue for a limited time. We purchased some merchandises to remember our incredible experience.

Overall, our trip to the One Piece "The Great Era of Piracy" Asia Tour Exhibition was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will remember for years to come. We strongly advise all One Piece fans and their families to visit before it's over!

[Local Entertainment]  Ain’t No Hero 《当世没英雄》Press Conference

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - "Ain’t No Hero 《当世没英雄》” , Malaysia's first Cantonese ancient martial arts drama is now on Astro Wah Lai To On Demand from April 21st onwards, unleashing a martial arts combat that combines the romance of ancient costume dramas with current humour. Yoon 吴家润 , who is more accustomed to variety shows than dramas, takes on the position of drama producer for the first time and confesses that the most challenging components of the job were modifying the screenplay, casting the roles, and regulating the budget. During filming, she used all of her connections to bring in over thirty popular local actors.

Yoon admits that she spent about a year adapting the script and put in a lot of time and work, frequently waking up in the middle of the night to explore creative ideas. From casting and rehearsals to filming and post-production, she was involved in every phase of the process. She notes that the standards of a drama are incredibly meticulous, from the structure of the screenplay and character interactions to the appearance of each character, right down to their socks and cosmetics. The large cost of post-production also surprised her, but she was fortunate to have the cooperation of the producers, coordinators, and executive producer to keep filming costs under control and the drama completed without squandering any resources. She also states that she would not be concerned about the ratings once the drama is released because she has done everything she can manage.

Lee 李治成, the head of Astro's Chinese R&D and production (news, information, and drama) department, indicated that they invited Yoon to be the producer primarily because they trust her, like her abilities, and admire her zeal. Yoon, who has been in the profession for many years and is at ease both in front of and behind the camera, he says, is ready to step outside of her comfort zone and offer new energy to the drama industry.

During the recent press conference, Vivienne 温慧茵、Sam沈展宁、Jordan盛天俊、Lovell陈馷佳、Eric赖宏恩and others appeared in their elaborate costumes from the drama. Because her character in the drama "杜生"  is a carefree online writer, Vivienne was the only one dressed in modern fashion. She joked that she spent more than seventy percent of her time on set being herself and didn't need to spend much time on her makeup, which was very casual.

The costumes of the other actors were also a hot topic. For example, Yoon's radio partner, Jack 叶朝明, who played the role in the Beggar Clan, had an unkempt hairstyle that was the focal point of the event. He also told reporters that when Yoon first invited him, he politely declined, but Yoon arranged for him to try on costumes and read the script without listening to his refusal. Jordan's appearance in the drama was the most jumbled, and it was difficult to identify him at first. He also made fun of himself, thanking the production team for restoring his appearance at the press conference and allowing him to appear on camera for the first time in a long time.

Interestingly, Daniel 车子（车志立）costume made the entire cast and crew laugh during the fitting. He wore a white dress with black long hair, and the stylist added a hair clip to match his daily routine in the drama, which was hilarious. Yoon also revealed that when she first "persuaded" Daniel to join the production, she promised him that he would be the male lead. After trying on the costumes and reading the script, Daniel realised he was only playing a supporting role. Daniel also stated at the press conference that he has a long-term vision and hopes that Yoon will fulfil her promise and let him be the male lead in a drama she produces someday.

Ernest Chong (张顺源), who had not acted in years and had since become a director, was another actor with an unusual costume. He agreed to play the role of 郭城, one of the "Four Great Heavenly Kings," after being invited by Yoon. He explained that his stiff costume was like a wall, causing him to sweat profusely while filming, which elicited laughter from the audience.

"《当世没英雄》Ain't No Hero" is not only Malaysia's first Cantonese costume drama, but also the first in which the majority of the young actors speak Cantonese throughout the show. At the press conference, actors such as Lovell 陈馷佳and newcomer 关丽荭 cracked numerous jokes. Sam沈展宁also had his first naked scene in a drama, and veteran actor Jordan Voon expressed delight that Malaysia now has its first Cantonese costume drama. Despite his minor role, he was pleased with the trailer and praised the production team for daring to try something new. Furthermore, Sam and Lovell acted as a couple in the drama, and Vivienne revealed that Lovell's boyfriend, Fuying, always came to the set because of her. Yoon also joked that having Lovell on set allowed her to invite Fuying to make a cameo appearance.

At the same time, producer Yoon revealed that many of the actors' appearances and costumes matched her vision of the drama's original characters. Eric  赖宏恩, who played the villain in the drama, for example, had a killer look and a "story" that matched her vision of the ambiguous character prototype. When asked why he was the only one who didn't wear a wig, Vivienne laughed and said it was because his looks didn't need to be hidden from the audience.

Jonathan Lee 李浩菖, the last actor to join the cast, expressed his excitement and gratitude for being a part of the drama. He stated that he was thrilled to work with the actors after reading the script. He played role who pretends to be foolish and innocent, and revealed that his character had a plot twist.

"《当世没英雄》Ain't No Hero" a Malaysian-produced Cantonese costume martial arts drama, is based on the serialised novel "《当世四大天王》" by Hong Kong online novelist 尤奇. The plot revolves around the martial arts world imagined by Du Sheng (played by Vivienne), an online writer. The eight tokens held by the major sects combine to form the ultimate martial arts treasure map in this fictional world. Whoever collects all of the tokens will become the martial arts world's ruler. Four of the tokens, however, have been stolen. The plot begins with Zhang Rong's death, and his sister Xie Ting (played by Aries 关丽荭) going missing. Her brother, Xie Feng (Sam), sets out to find her and meets Yi Chen (Jordan) and Zhang Bai Shi (Lovell), with whom he develops a romantic relationship. Xie Feng and the others seek the help of the master of Tui Sheng Tang, Tan Bo Lin (played by Jordan Voon), as well as the "Four Great Heavenly Kings": Li Ri Yue, the lord of Dong Mei Island (played by Daniel Che), Guo Cheng (played by Ernest Chong), Liu Hua, the king of the South China Sea (played by Jonathan Lee), and the leader of the Beggar Clan, Zhang You You (played by Jack叶朝明 ).

In addition to the lead actors, "Ain't No Hero" was supported by Astro's Chinese radio station DJs from MY, MELODY, and GOXUAN, who made cameo appearances in the drama. Everyone went above and beyond to give their best performance while also displaying their funny and silly sides. Meanwhile, Hong Kong fortune teller Mai Ling Ling made a cameo appearance as the master who guides Vivienne's female lead. She praised Vivienne for her serious demeanour and acting abilities, as well as the highly professional and enjoyable collaboration with the drama's production team. Yoon also revealed that despite the outdoor scenes being shot in the sun for nearly an entire afternoon, Mai Ling Ling was very enthusiastic and professional on the day of shooting.

The production team revealed that the drama was shot during a severe COVID-19 outbreak last year, and that almost every day, actors or crew members were diagnosed with the virus. To keep the filming schedule intact, they had to change the script, locations, and even use stunt doubles on a regular basis. During filming, the production team faced numerous challenges, including having to stop shooting due to bad weather during outdoor scenes. Fortunately, with everyone's help, they were able to overcome these obstacles, and the drama was successfully released on April 21st.

“武林大会” - 大马首部粤语古装武侠剧《当世没英雄》记者会

Astro华丽台 On Demand在4月21日推出《当世没英雄》，这是马来西亚首部粤语古装武侠电视剧，结合了奇情古装武侠和现代诙谐搞笑的元素。Yoon吴家润首次担任戏剧监制，表示改编剧本、定角色和管控预算是最困难的部分，拍摄期间也邀请了超过30位本地演员。吴家润透露她从剧本改编起就投入大量时间和心血，并在选角、对戏、拍摄、后期制作等全程参与。她表示，戏剧制作需要非常细致，包括剧本架构、角色关系、每个角色的造型和妆容都要讲究。加上制作费用的巨大压力，她很感激制作人、统筹、总监制等人和她一起管控拍摄费用，确保不浪费一分一毫。她还表示，上架后不会太在意收视率，因为她已经尽力做好了自己能够掌控的部分。

Astro中文部研发与制作总监（新闻资讯与戏剧）李治成透露，邀请吴家润担任监制主要是因为信任她的能力和热忱，他认为吴家润已经入行多年，在台前幕后都非常熟悉，是时候跳出舒适圈，加入新的领域给戏剧圈带来新气象。

在Astro举办的“武林大会”上，演员Vivienne温慧茵、Sam沈展宁、Jordan盛天俊、Lovell陈馷佳、Eric赖宏恩等人出席，还原了剧中的角色造型。主角温慧茵在剧中饰演一个随性的网络作家，所以她是唯一穿着时装的演员，拍摄期间不需要花太多时间化妆，非常随意。其他演员的造型也很有话题，例如吴家润的电台搭档叶朝明饰演丐帮帮助张友友，他的不修边幅的发型成为了话题中心。Jordan盛天俊在剧中造型很邋遢，不过他自嘲感谢剧组在记者会上还他颜值，让他可以清爽地上镜。

《当世没英雄》不仅是大马首部粤语古装剧，也让大部分年轻演员第一次全程用粤语说对白。如陈馷佳和新人演员关丽荭等人在“武林大会”现场也闹了不少笑话。Sam沈展宁在剧中也有裸露的戏码，而老戏骨温绍平则开心表示，大马终于有了第一部粤语古装剧。即使自己的戏份不多，他在现场看到了预告片也非常满意成果，并表扬剧组的大胆尝试！此外，沈展宁和陈馷佳在剧中饰演情侣，温慧茵爆料陈馷佳的男友Fuying王赴颖几乎都在现场探班，吴家润还打趣说因为有陈馷佳在剧组，她才能顺势邀请赴颖客串一角。

在同一时间，制片人吴家润透露，许多演员的形象和造型都非常符合她在剧中所设想的原型，例如在饰演反派角色的“男神”Eric赖宏恩，他的眼神中既有杀气又有“故事”，与她心目中的亦正亦邪的角色原型非常相似。当赖宏恩询问为什么他是唯一一个不戴假发套的演员时，温慧茵笑着说他的颜值不需要遮掩，可以向观众展示。而最后加入剧组的Jonathan李浩菖则表示自己非常幸运能够参与这部剧，他在剧中饰演“装傻扮懵”的刘华，透露自己在剧中有反转的戏份，让观众期待。

由Astro出品的马来西亚首部粤语古装武侠剧《当世没英雄》改编自香港网络小说作家尤奇的连载小说《当世四大天王》。经过改编，剧情以网络作家杜生（原名杜德慧，温慧茵饰）的武侠想象世界为背景主轴，在这个架空的古装武林世界中，各大门派持有的八面令牌结合在一起是武林至高无上的秘笈藏宝图，集齐全部令牌者即拥有整个武林，但是其中已有四面令牌被盗走。故事以张荣的身亡为开端，随之谢婷（关丽荭饰）也失踪，其兄长谢锋（沈展宁饰）因此展开了一场寻妹之旅，期间遇到了伊臣（盛天俊饰）、张柏诗（陈馷佳饰），还与后者展开了感情线。谢锋等人找上了腿圣谭伯麟（温绍平饰），以及四大天王：东魅岛主黎日月（车子饰）、西域马痴郭城（张顺源饰）、南海之王刘华（Jonathan 李浩菖），还有丐帮帮主张友友（Jack叶朝明饰）。

除了主演之外，《当世没英雄》还得到Astro中文电台MY、MELODY以及GOXUAN DJ的友情出演。此外，本地资深艺人颜薇恩、狄妃、王赴颖、温绍平、吕爱琼、张咏华和电影界的陈培永也将客串该剧的角色。香港堪舆大师麦玲玲也在该剧中客串出演女主杜生的师傅，她赞赏与之对戏的温慧茵的认真态度和演技。剧组在去年疫情严峻时期拍摄，面临着各种困难和挑战，但在台前幕后工作人员的支持下，终于于4月21日顺利上映。

 [Entertainment News] Eason Chan’s thoughts on his upcoming “Fear and Dreams” concert in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - Eason Chan reveals the content of his Malaysian concert and encourages fans to attend and see for themselves. He is scheduled to perform in Malaysia in May and advises that as he ages, he must be more mindful of his physical condition, particularly when it comes to resisting food temptations. He also admits to having OCD and prefers things to be neat and tidy.

Eason, also known as “E神” recently finished two "Fear and Dreams" concerts in Singapore and discussed how he got food poisoning after indulging in some of his favourite local delicacies. After the concerts, he developed a sore throat and realised he needed to take better care of his physical health.

From the 12th to the 14th of May 2023, Eason will perform three "Fear and Dreams" world tour concerts in Malaysia at the Axiata Arena. He explains that the concert's theme was conceived in 2018 and revolves around human nature, emotions, life attitudes, and the meaning of life itself. He believes that the global experience of the Covid-19 pandemic has made this theme even more relevant and impactful.

When asked if there will be any special surprises or song arrangements for the Malaysian concerts, Eason responds that the experience can only be fully appreciated in person by witnessing the audio, visual effects, costumes, dancers and musicians. He compares the tour to a circus, where the emphasis is on acrobatics and various types of acts, whereas his concert is focused on singing and dancing, with audio and visuals taking centre stage.

Eason mentions that he had to be extremely focused in order to finish the concert programme, which included over 20 songs with little time for breaks or talking. He adds that performing without interruption was mentally and physically exhausting but rewarding.

Aside from his concert tours, Eason Chan recently released a new song called 《尘大师》, hoping to share his "heart method" with his fans through the song's relaxed and optimistic atmosphere, believing that as long as problems are faced calmly, everything will be fine. When asked if he is currently in a similarly relaxed and optimistic frame of mind, Eason Chan paused for a few seconds before answering seriously that he has always maintained such a mindset.  "My temper is much better now," he joked. When I was younger, I had a particularly bad temper. Being young is simply being young, that's all."

He still believes that the "script of life" has already been written, even though he is older and his temper has calmed. He does, however, like to have control over certain things and may even have OCD. For example, when he walks into a tidy space, he feels very comfortable, but not so much that if a sticker on a whiteboard is not properly affixed, he feels anxious or his palms sweat in the next second. "For example, with this socket, I will naturally want to turn off the switch because I feel safe," he added. Isn't that how it's used to be? Otherwise, why would there be a button? That is the type of person I am."

陈奕迅曾在2016年2月在云顶世界连续举办了三场《ANOTHER EASON's LIFE》演唱会。时隔7年后，他将于5月12、13和14日在可容纳万人的武吉加里尔亚通体育馆（Axiata Arena）连开三场《Fear and Dreams》世界巡回演唱会马来西亚站。他表示，这个主题早在2018年就开始构思，主要传达人性、情绪、生活态度、生命等讯息。加上过去3年全球共同经历和面对新冠疫情后，这个主题的出现似乎更有影响力，也能让大家有更深刻的体会。

当被问及马来西亚站是否会有特别的惊喜或曲目安排时，陈奕迅回答说：“其实都差不多。对我来说，这个演唱会要亲身去场馆体会音响、屏幕、美术、服装、舞蹈员和乐队的力量，你亲自来感受就会明白。”他还形容此次巡演与拉斯维加斯秀有着异曲同工之妙，两者的差别在于拉斯维加斯秀是马戏团，侧重于杂技表演，而他的演唱会则以唱歌和跳舞为主，重视好声音和画面效果，是整个团队最注重的部分。

陈奕迅除了进行巡回演唱会外，还推出了新歌《尘大师》，希望透过轻松愉快的氛围与歌迷分享“心法”，认为面对问题只要泰然处之就可以轻松解决。当被问及现在的他是否也同样心态轻松豁达时，他认真思考了数秒，然后表示自己一直以来都保持着这样的心态，但当遇到紧张的事情时，他往往会感到慌乱和易怒。他笑称：“我现在的脾气比年轻时好多了，年轻就是年轻，总是容易发脾气。”

现在的他年纪渐长，脾气也变得更加收敛。他认为“人生剧本”早已被写好，但仍然喜欢掌握某些事情，甚至有些强迫症。例如当他置身于整齐的环境中时，他会感到非常舒服，但如果贴在白板上的贴纸没有贴好，他会感到不安或手心冒汗。他还举了一个例子：“比如这个插座，我会自然而然地想把开关关掉，因为我觉得这样更安全，插座就是这样用的嘛，否则就不应该有这个按钮啊，所以我就是这样一个人。”

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - BE:FIRST, the popular new Japanese boy group, has released a second single after a two-month break after releasing their first digital single "Boom Boom Back"in mid-February 2023. On 26th April 2023, the new single, "Smile Again" was officially released on various digital music platforms.

"Smile Again"showcases the unique vocal abilities of BE:FIRST's seven members with its exquisite and minimalist musical style, giving the song depth and texture that makes for a rich narrative. It's their first sentimental masterpiece since their debut, with a refreshing and captivating melody. The vibrant dance moves also create stunning visuals that transport listeners into BE:FIRST's colourful world. The simple lyrics magnify the song's melancholy and dreamy atmosphere, allowing listeners to fully experience the work's emotions of sadness, fragility, determination, and hope.

BE:FIRST's new single not only features top-tier production, but also an impressive lineup of collaborators, including SKY-HI of BMSG, the dance and vocal legend from w-inds, Keita Tachibana, and the Seoul-born music producer JUNE. The choreography was handled by "s**t kingz" Japan's most powerful dance troupe, which includes shoji, kazuki, NOPPO, and oguri. They have won the "BODY ROCK" dance competition in the United States for two years in a row, and they have also collaborated with many Japanese and Korean artists, including Da-iCE, ØMI, GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, Super Junior-D&E, SHINee, NCT 127, and EXO.

On April 24th, the music video for "Smile Again" was released on BE:FIRST's official YouTube channel, with the airport serving as the backdrop, showcasing the group members' stories of unwavering desire to find true love. They held a live streaming event on YouTube on April 26th at 6 p.m.(Singapore/Malaysia time) to share their new work with their fans to coincide with the release of the new single.

When releasing new works, BE:FIRST keeps their domestic and international fans, known as "BESTY" (BE:FIRST fandom name), in mind. As a result, they will be sharing more information and activities related to "Smile Again" via social media.

It's worth noting that BE:FIRST has collaborated with the sunscreen brand "ANESSA" to create an international promotional song called "Smile Again." Nine One One is a rap-pop group from Taichung, Taiwan, formed in 2009 by three members: KEN-G, Onion, and EO. Nine One One's music is distinctive, combining elements of rap, hip-hop, and pop music. Astro Originals Produces the Touching Chinese Family Drama "《兴福茶室》Once Upon A Kopitiam" for Mother's Day and Father's Day

Uriah See Sets Out on a Journey in Search of His Roots; Traditional Tea House Culture Showcases Three Generations of Family Relationships

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 -Astro has spent nearly five months creating a special feature for Mother's Day and Father's Day, releasing a new Astro Originals Chinese drama series "《兴福茶室》Once Upon A Kopitiam"! It airs on Astro AEC and Astro Go on 28th April 2023. At the press conference, the series' lead actors, Uriah See, Goh Wee Ping, and Freddie Wong, as well as other cast members, discussed the touching family scenes of three generations of grandfather, son, and grandson. In addition, the crew travelled to several villages in West Malaysia for location shooting, showcasing Malaysia's unique rural scenery and fully demonstrating the Nanyang tea house culture.

Astro has been producing original Chinese drama series since last year, including well-received works such as 《深海失物所》, 《姐就是要酱过年》, and the recently concluded 《患者》. The new series "《兴福茶室》Once Upon A Kopitiam" starring Uriah See and Daphne Low, tells a heartwarming family comedy about daily life between family and neighbours. The crew revealed that due to the rainy season during filming, the original goal of finishing before the new year was pushed back until after the new year due to uncontrollable weather conditions.

"《兴福茶室》Once Upon A Kopitiam" was produced by Astro and co-produced by Multimedia. The plot revolves around the last remaining old-fashioned tea house, "《兴福茶室》" in the deteriorating village of "兴福新村" which is also on the verge of closing. Graduate student Ah Bing 阿冰 (Uriah See) returns from Canada and travels here on a roots-seeking journey, during which he meets a local girl Ah Shan 阿珊 (Daphne Low). He also re-encounters his unknown grandfather and tea house owner, Boss Xiao 萧老板 (played by Freddie Wong), and learns the truth about his father's journey.

The "《兴福茶室》Once Upon A Kopitiam " which was primarily sponsored by OLDTOWN White Coffee, was not only shot in several picturesque villages in West Malaysia, but also rented an old-fashioned Nanyang tea shop on the ground floor for business and the upper floor for living as the main filming location. As the story progressed, a large fire scene was shot on a closed street, with fire departments on standby for safety.

"《兴福茶室》Once Upon A Kopitiam" shows viewers various aspects of everyday life in a tea shop. It depicts the colourful lives of villagers as well as the relationships between families, bosses, and employees.

Uriah See, who had never met his grandfather in real life or on screen before, was able to experience the grandfather-grandson relationship through his theatrical performance as a special tribute for Parents' Day. The father-son relationship between Goh's Xiao Yuanfeng 萧源丰 and Freddie Wong's Boss Xiao 萧老板 was also a highlight of the show.

《兴福茶室》是OLDTOWN White Coffee主要赞助的电视剧，除了到西马多的美丽乡村取景，还租下了楼下做生意楼上做住宅的传统南洋茶室店面作为主要拍摄场景。后来为了配合剧情，还封街拍摄了一场大火灾场面，并为了安全起见特别安排了消防队待命。剧组在幕后做足了准备，演员们也表现得十分真诚。Uriah徐凯在戏中献上了戏剧荧幕上的初吻和多场出浴戏码；刘倩妏扮演的道地乡村女孩抛开偶像包袱接受阳光的洗礼，唯独在女追男的戏码上让她在戏里戏外都尴尬得想要跳河，十分有趣；老戏骨王骏则直言最难忘的是和儿子相认后却上演了“六国大封相”的戏码；吴维彬在剧中扮演徐凯的父亲，但在杀青后在社交媒体上自称这将是他的告别之作？！吕爱琼则在剧中饰演一个命运坎坷的角色，她的三个丈夫相继去世，但她却继承了他们的遗产成为了富有的寡妇，最终和王骏扮演的萧老板在一起?

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - Hello, fans! 張惠妹 A-Mei's "ASMeiR 2023 World Tour" has officially announced two back-to-back concerts! Set your alarms because tickets for the Malaysia stop of the tour will go on sale at 12 p.m. on 5th May 2023!

The "ASMeiR 2023 World Tour," organised by ACO MEDIA, co-hosted by METALIVE WORLD, and produced by 源活娛樂, will take place on 25th August 2023 and 26th August 2023 at 8 p.m. in the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. She will perform hit songs that are sure to excite her fans!

From 31st March 2023 to 16th April 2023, A-Mei performed 10 concerts at Kaohsiung Arena, breaking her previous record of 8 shows. The Kaohsiung concerts were "jump-free" and had the volume and bass turned all the way up, creating an unrestricted party where fans could let loose! A-Mei emphasised her queenly charisma by wearing a black, exaggerated, princess-sleeved outfit with a 20-kilogram skirt that extended to the floor.

"For every concert, I tell myself that I just want to enjoy the stage, no matter what," A-Mei said at the Kaohsiung concert. Because you've come to see me, and I've come to see you. That's all there is to it." So, why delay? Make plans to attend the concert and sing along with A-Mei! Let's throw the wildest and most outrageous party ever!
