[Concert Coverage] Encounter: Anime, Echoes from the ACG World

Kuala Lumpur, January 2023 – AOrchestra’s first concert titled Encounter: Anime, Echoes from the ACG World has taken place over the weekend of 7th and 8th January 2023. The main goal of AOrchestra is to provide fans with orchestra performances of ACG's iconic songs (anime, comic and gaming). Despite being their first concert, the show was absolutely incredible and impressive!

As the night's emcee, popular cosplayer and TikTok influencer PUDDS (Pui Ting) has demonstrated a lot of energy to hype up the crowd with her hosting skills. She provided a summary of the origins of each OST prior to each song performance. It was a great recall moment for ACG fans as well as a good lead up for new ACG audiences.

Alvin Ong, the founder of AOrchestra, has done an outstanding job of bringing together musicians who share a passion for "Animation, Comics, and Games" (ACG). Throughout the show, the performances were conducted by talented conductors such as Justin, Ean Tan and Ian Kit. It also included musicians who played traditional Chinese instruments in addition to the full ensemble. The audience was mesmerised and captivated by the variety of instruments!

They have enlivened the atmosphere with a good mood and setting by opening the show with Violet Evergarden and To Zanarkand - Final Fantasy X. The animated footage as the backdrop complemented their excellent musical performance! All of these gave ACG fans a great tympanic and visual treat!

Following these two songs, PUDDS appeared on stage to provide tissues to the audience in preparation for a sad upcoming track titled Tanjiro no Uta - Demon Slayer. This is a unique interpretation by Alvin Ong. It was a really entertaining experience because the musicians provided the sentimental captured through the OST and the anime Demon Slayer.

To soothe the crowd's feelings, the show then proceeded with Anime Lullaby, which kept the fans entertained. They then brought in another wave of emotion with Vogel Im Kofig - Attack On Titan! Chiau Hung, the pianist, has really captured our attention with her outstanding piano skills as well as her excellent Attack On Titan Survey Corps cosplay!

In addition to songs from Japanese anime, Encounter: Anime, Echoes from the ACG World featured the song Big Fish & Begonia from a Chinese anime.

The orchestra also performed songs such as Ashitaka Sekki - Princess Mononoke, The Bygone Days - Porco Rosso, and Mother's Broom - Kiki's Delivery Service, without forgetting ACG fans' favourite Joe Hisashi's animes.

In addition, the orchestra performed Liz and the Blue Bird Mvt.4. Finally, this concert was a wonderful treat for Genshin Impact! fans, as it featured a total of more than 13 minutes of Genshin Suite featuring multiple OSTs from the legendary game! They also played the OSTs with some "spoiler footage" from the game as the background screen.

Last but not least, AOrchestra also provided the encore song which was loved by majority of the ACG Fans! It concluded with a spectacular finale of "Gurenge - Demon Slayer Theme Song"! PUDDS sang along during the show and encouraged the fans to sing together!

Overall, it was a really enjoyable show worth every penny of the tickets! AOrchestra deserved a lot of applause! ACG fans should definitely follow their page and keep an eye out for more of their upcoming events!

On a side note, this is not my first time covering PJPac. With its hall ambience, I thoroughly enjoyed the venue. I'm looking forward to attending more events at this venue in the future!

 [Movie] What! The Heist 发财联盟Press Conference and Premiere Screening @ GSC Mid Valley Megamall

Kuala Lumpur, January 2023 - "What! The Heist 发财联盟" one of the upcoming CNY 2023 films, will be released on 19^thJanuary 2023! The show featured both of Malaysia's and Singapore's most prominent stars, Jack Lim 林德荣 and Mark Lee李国煌!! Apart from this film, Mark Lee has another CNY film in the works that will compete with it.

This is not Jack Lim's first collaboration with Mark Lee. They previously collaborated on the film "Ah Long Pte Ltd 老师嫁老大"! Mark Lee hopes that this film will exceed their box office sales target.

What! The Heist 发财联盟 will be released in other countries apart from Malaysia and Singapore. It will be released in Taiwan after the Chinese New Year. Jack Lim will appear as a couple with Mei Yan, his radio FM partner. They both stated that it is not awkward for them because they have worked together for so long. 大Hee, on the other hand, was nervous about filming a scene with Mei Yan, according to Jack Lim.

Ahirine Ahirudin 爱慧玲, one of the cast members, does not speak Mandarin. As a result, during filming, she is frequently forced to make guesses about the conversations of her co-stars. Jaspers 赖宇涵joked that he needed to look up a dictionary to assist Ahirine with the English script.

This time, the entire cast had a great time filming together. If the film does well at the box office, Jack Lim and Mark Lee joked that they might do a sequel and even film in India in the future.

Kuala Lumpur, January 2023 - The ultimate K-pop experience is on its way to you! NCT DREAM, WayV, KARD, and ALICE will perform at the SEEN FESTIVAL in Kuala Lumpur 2023, organised by CM Live, on Saturday, 28 January 2023, from 6:00pm onwards at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil.

Secure your spot to catch the start-studded groups perform live when tickets to the festival go on sale this 13 January. The SEEN FESTIVAL in Kuala Lumpur 2023 will feature a T-shaped stage for fans to get up close and personal with their idols and experience the thrilling moment when their gazes meet.

In the run-up to the festival, each of the four groups has released a special video in which they express their New Year greetings and express their eagerness to see their fans in Malaysia.

NCT DREAM fans' dreams are coming true as the boy band will perform at the festival. They debuted under SM Entertainment in 2016 with the digital single Chewing Gum and turned heads with My First and Last and other hits. They are Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. NCT DREAM made K-pop history by becoming the youngest group to sell one million copies of their debut full-length album, Hot Sauce.

WayV, which stands for "We Are Your Vision," a boy group formed by SM Entertainment, will also be performing at the festival. They made their debut in 2019 with the digital single album The Vision and were named Best New Asian Artist at the Mnet Asian Music Awards the following year. They made a comeback following their appearance at SMTOWN Live 2022 with their recently released fourth mini album Phantom.

KARD, a four-member co-ed group, will also perform at the festival, an abbreviation of different "cards" assigned to each member - BM with the "King" card, J.seph with the "Ace", Somin with the "Black Joker" and Jiwoo with the "Colour Joker". They made their debut in late 2016 with the single Oh NaNa and then made waves with Don't Recall, which gained massive popularity not only in Asia but also in the Western world, demonstrating their star power across borders.

ALICE, a seven-member girl group, joins the festival lineup, with Do-A, Yeonje, Yukyung, Sohee, Karin, EJ, and Chaejeong representing the heart, wind, water, sky, forest, star, and moon, respectively. ALICE debuted in 2017 with the release of their first mini album WE, first, and is known for a variety of hits such as Pow Pow, Summer Dream, JACKPOT, Power Of Love, and DANCE ON.

Meet and Greet The Fans!

On 13/1/2023, 1 Utama drew a large crowd of Donnie Yen's fans! Donnie greeted all of the fans with "Apa Khabar" and thanked everyone for their support!

During the meet and greet, Donnie has shared one of his experiences during the filming of the movie! He expressed the difficulty in the making of the horse ride scene! It was a difficult scene, and he hopes the fans enjoy it!

Donnie also expressed a desire to create and redefine a martial arts universe lore based on the Chinese Wuxia novel. He felt that some of the similar stunts used in Hollywood superheroes action movies were also performed by him before in his films. So why not use his talents to create a Chinese action movie universe as well? The fans all agreed and cheered!

In addition to that, three lucky fans were chosen to go on stage and interacted with Donnie Yen. He thanked them all for their efforts on stage. He even referred one of the young female fans as young "Michelle Yeoh"!

Aside from that, some other lucky competition winners received the opportunity to take photos with him!

Sakra will be released in Malaysia nationwide Cinema on 16th January 2023!

Donnie Yen took on three roles for the difficult task for the film "Sakra," serving as producer, director, and lead actor. He has also assembled award-winning production teams. This is definitely a movie to catch this month!

"Sakra" will be released in Malaysian cinemas on 16th January 2023, with special sneak previews on January 14 and 15. Check it out at your nearest cinemas soon!

 [Coverage] KANGDANIEL CONCERT “FIRST PARADE” IN MALAYSIA (Dual Language Article)

Genting Highlands, January 2023 – Danity was in a treat on 14th January 2023 as KANGDANIEL has performed at Arena Of Stars, Resorts World Genting for his KANGDANIEL CONCERT “FIRST PARADE” IN MALAYSIA!

The concert began with an introduction video, followed by energetic performances of "Who U Are,""Don't Tell + Waves" by Daniel, before moving on to a fan interaction scene. During the time for fan engagement, Daniel expressed his joy at returning to Malaysia. He has personally picked the costumes for his concert and he hopes the fans will like it and enjoy his performances.

After that, Kang Daniel continued with the performance of “Parade”! Daniel stated just after this song that his Parade will keep going as long as Danity are still around! He asked the fans to give a toast to the parade and continue to have fun for the night! Prior to starting the following performances, Daniel took a quick breather and a drink of water.

He moved on with the next performance of “Touchin’”with his slick dance choreography. Another video clip that followed demonstrated how Daniel made food for himself. After that the background screen was transitioned into a high school setting before Daniel came back on state with a more youthful attire performing the song of “Selfish”!“Selfish” is his new song and this is the first time for him to perform LIVE on stage for the Danity!

Daniel then continued to perform his next songs “2U”and “Upside Down”. Right after “Upside Down”, Daniel proceeded with “Balance Quiz”. Daniel must respond to some of the fans' questions. One of the funny questions include whether he prefers to play a game alone a week earlier before its release or he prefers to watch a movie featuring his favourite artistes a day before its release, he chose the first one which is the play the game! He also chose "ability to communicate with animals" over "ability to communicate in foreign languages" because he has four cats and doesn't seem to understand them. 

Daniel proceeded with the next singing performance of "Jealous"after the balance quiz! Another intro video clip showed Daniel dancing by himself. For the video footage, the director instructed him to dance as if he were drunk. Following the video, he returned to the stage without any backup dancers to perform "Misunderstood"! He stated that this was the halfway point of the concert and then proceeded to perform "Loser"!He kept the song for himself for a long time until he felt it was time to release it.

Kang Daniel then delivered a powerful vocal performance of "Antidote"! Following this performance, Daniel unexpectedly invited a member of his crew out and sang "Happy Birthday" to him.

Daniel's backup dancers then returned to the stage to perform his next song, "Paranoia"! After that, fans were treated to another video clip before Kang Daniel continued with his final few songs, including "Ghost,""1000X," and "Nirvana"!

After that, the fans yelled for an encore, and Kang Daniel did not disappoint, returning to the stage in a white T-shirt to perform his encore song "Movie"! The concert ended with much joy, especially for Danity, who had been anticipating his parade for quite some time!

姜丹尼尔时隔3年来马! 换造型唱新歌展诚意! (Mandarin Article)

韩国男星姜丹尼尔继2019年来马举办《COLOR ON ME》粉丝见面会后，时隔3年多带着首次个人演唱会《KANGDANIEL CONCERT FIRST PARADE IN MALAYSIA》与“DANITY”（姜丹尼尔粉丝昵称）见面。由于大马站是他2023 年巡演的第一站，他换上全新服装外，在曲目上也稍作调整，特别首唱去年11月发行的正规一辑后续专辑《The Story : RETOLD》中的3首新歌《Nirvana》、《Ghost》和《Selfish》，展现十足诚意。

此外，他在演唱会上准备了10道二选一问题，当要他在“一辈子不能喝咖啡”及“每天吃夏威夷披萨”之间做出选择时，他马上选了前者，接着以英文解释道：“我不喜欢有黄梨的披萨…其实披萨很好吃，黄梨在水果当中也是很好吃的，但放在一起就很可怕。”之后被问到最想拥有的技能时，身为猫奴的他思考片刻后，舍弃“能说所有外语”的能力，反倒选了“与动物对话的技能”，笑称：“很多时候我都搞不懂它们在说什么，所以这题是为了我的猫而选的。” 最后他以《Movie》为演唱会画下句点后，回后台前用手比了大爱心，还90度鞠躬感谢粉丝到场支持。

 [Coverage] Gala Night of “Ma, I Love You”《真爱好妈》

Kuala Lumpur, January 2023 – During this season, going to the movies is a popular activity for those celebrating Chinese New Year. This year, Director Chiu, who has previously directed "The Journey" and "Ola Bola," will bring us another heartwarming film titled "《真爱好妈》Ma, I Love You" to the big screen. This film revolves around the story of a mother-daughter relationship and will undoubtedly bring you a touching story that will touch your heart.

"《真爱好妈》Ma, I Love You,"presented by Astro Shaw and Multimedia Entertainment, produced by WooHoo Pictures, incorporated many local elements into the story telling. Despite being a Chinese New Year film, it includes multi-lingual culture seen in Malaysia while remaining true to the Malaysian norm. Director Chiu's greatest strength is undoubtedly his ability to direct films that resonate with audiences. That is one of the main reasons why South East Asian Globe named Director Chiu one of Malaysia's best directors.

Being a parent is not easy. On the other hand, being a child comes with its own set of complications."《真爱好妈》Ma, I love you" tells the story of Goh Bee Ling, a single mother, and her daughter QiQi. From Bee Ling's point of view, she was always content to continue living close to her daughter. Things changed when she discovered that her daughter was secretly planning to apply to study abroad in France. Bee Ling felt betrayed and hoped to derail QiQi's plans so she could spend more time with her daughter. Will QiQi be able to realise her dream of becoming self-sufficient? Let's find out this coming Chor 1 (1st day of Chinese New Year 2023) (22nd January 2023) at your local cinema!

The film also included a theme song titled 《离别，怎么写》, by Jess Lee 李佳薇, and a French OST titled “Bonjour.Merci” by Froya.

Director Chiu revealed that the filming took approximately one month. He believed that this film would allow him to investigate the relationship between modern parents and their children. Everyone has a unique way of expressing their love. In love, the word "sacrifice" can mean different things to different families. He hopes that everyone will watch this film with their loved ones and discover the meaning of "family" through it.

Raja Jastina Raja Arshad, the CEO of Astro Shaw and Malay Nusantara, stated that Astro Shaw was able to release a film that is suitable not only for those celebrating Chinese New Year but also for everyone in the country because it features a meaningful family-based film. She believes that "Ma, I Love You" is one of Director Chiu's best films, and it is filled with many meaningful values. Astro Shaw hopes that, in addition to entertaining the audience, the film will bring family members closer together.

Gala Night of 《真爱好妈》(Ma, I Love You) washeld at GSC Starling Mall on January 16, 2023.It was a fantastic night that included a flash mob dance of parents and children. They gave an outstanding performance to kick off the event. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the executive producer, director Chiu, and the show's main cast members, which include Ong Ai Leng 王爱玲, Siow Li Xuan 萧莉璇, Loh Lai Kan 罗励勤, Felina Cheah 谢德容and Phei Yong 培永. Each of them shared snippets of what to expect in the film, which piqued the interest of the audience.

Following the show, all of the cast members greeted fans outside the cinema dressed as their characters.

Overall, it was a very heartwarming film that should be seen this Chinese New Year 2023! I strongly advise you to see it at your nearest cinema during this festive season!

 [Movie Review] “Ma, I Love You”《真爱好妈》

《真爱好妈》(“Ma, I Love You) is Director Chiu'slatest sweet retreat, following the success of "The Journey"and "Ola Bola". As with his previous entries, he has incorporated many local elements that will undoubtedly entertain the audience. Some of the amusing scenes struck such a chord with the local parents and children that it appeared as if he was filming the audience's relationship with their parents. Some spoilers in the trailer include the mother following her daughter's car and commenting on her driving abilities.

Furthermore, I would like to commend the acting in this film, particularly that of the show's main stars, Ong Ai Leng 王爱玲and Siow Li Xuan 萧莉璇. Both have given outstanding performances as mother and daughter, with realistic and believable interactions. Every scene, with their interactions, can really connect with the audience. Ong Ai Leng's portrayal of the character Bee Ling, an overly attached mother, is fantastic, and it will undoubtedly reveal to audiences who are children in a family the perspective and struggle of a parent. Siow's character QiQi, on the other hand, will remind the parents' audiences of their children's dreams. Siow's performance is excellent, and a few of her scenes will undoubtedly make the audience cry. They both did an excellent job delivering the heartwarming scenes! Furthermore, Loh Lai Kan's role as grandmother added to the show's realism.

Another aspect of Director Chiu's film that I have always admired is the visually stunning scenes. There were many breathtaking shots of the local scenery that left me awestruck. For example, the sunrise scene and the shot at a popular shopping mall.

Furthermore, I believe that the audience will learn a few French words after watching the show, in addition to being educated on the importance of family love.

Overall, this is one of my recommended films to watch this season! Make sure to catch the show at your local cinema starting on January 22nd, 2023!

 [Local Entertainment] Chong Keat Aun-directed music video “Echoes of the New Year” echoes diverse local cultural heritage to usher in Chinese New Year

Kuala Lumpur, January 2023 - Chong Keat Aun, an award-winning Malaysian filmmaker, has released "Echoes of the New Year,"his fifth directed Chinese New Year folk music video, which is produced by SunStrong Entertainment and co-produced by Janji Pictures, Southern Islet Pictures, and The Classic Accents.

While highlighting the folk arts of the Hakka, Cantonese, Hainanese, Teochew, Hokkien, and Peranakan communities, the music video, shot in Sekinchan, Selangor, also incorporates diverse cultural elements such as sape to cak lempong, dragon and lion dance, Chinese opera, 24 festive drums, Chinese zithers, and more.

Chong, a Golden Horse Award winner, is also known for his work in the preservation of traditional local arts and culture, having spent 18 years documenting local oral traditions of various Chinese dialects and sharing these stories with the larger community through various mediums.

At the premiere ceremony at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Communications and Digital Deputy Minister Teo Nie Ching expressed her admiration for the music video and invited Chong to film in her Kulai constituency, while Selangor State Legislative Assembly Speaker and Sekinchan assemblyman Ng Suee Lim praised Chong for showcasing Sekinchan's beauty. Ng promised to promote the music video throughout the holiday season and use it to promote Sekinchan tourism this year.

Pavilion Bukit Jalil marketing director Kung Suan Ai, painter Yap Hong Ngee, writer Ow Fuling, radio announcer Chan Fong, actresses Pearlly Chua and Pauline Tan, voice talent Dennis Gan, filmmaker Yeo Joon Han, and music producer WEE were also in attendance. Cultural performances by the Sung Fong Meng Cantonese Opera, Penang Teochew Puppet & Opera House, and Souls Impact Percussion were also provided for guests.

The music video begins with a classic poem that conveys a sense of renewal and hope, as everyone can now look forward to celebrating the holiday season after enduring two years of hardship as a result of the pandemic. Props in the music video, such as the kuku kambing (traditional crowbar), millstone, bakul siah (auspicious basket), porcelain plates, and paper windmill, are genuine artefacts belonging to the elderly in various communities.

"Collaborating with a creative as phenomenal as Chong for the second time, we are able to create works that showcase local folk arts, which allows us to ensure they thrive and live on," SunStrong Entertainment founder and music video executive producer Jment Lim says. That way, the next generation will be aware that, in addition to the popular Chinese New Year songs heard today, there is folk music that has been a part of our communities for centuries."

[Coverage] SEEN FESTIVAL In Kuala Lumpur 2023

Kuala Lumpur, 2023 - The first-ever SEEN FESTIVAL in Kuala Lumpur 2023, organised by CM Live, saw fans flock to Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil to party with a lineup of K-pop acts including NCT DREAM, WayV, KARD, and ALICE, as well as Malaysia's pop quartet DOLLA.

The arena's first major K-pop festival featured a T-shaped stage, giving concertgoers, especially those in the SEEN ZONE or standing area, an all-around, close-up view of their favourite idols.

DOLLA, Malaysia's very own, opened the show, and the crowd watched them glow with "Impikan,""BAD," and "Dolla Make You Wanna," before ALICE graced the stage in an all-white outfit and hit the high note with songs like "JACKPOT,""Summer Dream,"and "DANCE ON" on their Malaysian debut.

KARD, a four-member co-ed group, made a name for themselves with electrifying hits like "Ring The Alarm", "Oh NaNa",and "Dumb Litty". Some fans in the audience were lucky when the group of four grabbed their phones for a selfie.

A green wave of NCT fan lightsticks welcomed WayV to the stage as the NCT sub-unit performs in Malaysia for the first time and they surely delivered with a string of hits including "Diamonds Only", "Broken Love" and their recent release "Phantom".

The green lightsticks stay on for NCT DREAM which got the fans cheering along to their impeccable performances such as "Hot Sauce", "Glitch Mode" and "BeatBox", before they ended the night sweetly with "Candy". To celebrate a member's upcoming birthday, the group sang Happy Birthday with the audience.

Fans were overjoyed to see and be seen by their idols at the SEEN Festival in Kuala Lumpur 2023.

 [Local Entertainment] WHAT! THE HEIST is quickly climbing the list of the top ten Chinese films of all time in Box Office Results!

Jack Lim promises to treat fans to e-Angpows with an RM6.5 million box-office haul.

Kuala Lumpur, February 2023 - Local Chinese New Year action comedy WHAT! THE HEIST broke box-office records both here and across the border, grossing over RM4.3 million and S$400,000, bringing its total box-office to RM5.5 million as of the 9th day of the Lunar New Year. For the past four years, it has surpassed the RM4 million box-office mark for a local Chinese production. It is now ranked 11th among the top ten Malaysian Chinese films.

The film, which has been well received by local audiences, began on a high note and received rave reviews. Nonetheless, its outstanding box-office results drew criticism, which both director Matt Lai and producer Jack Lim initially dismissed as a matter of audience preference. However, these haters appeared to be on a rampage across various platforms, attempting to persuade audiences not to support WHAT! THE HEIST.

The film's director was troubled by this, but he is relieved that it was only a small group, and the majority of the audience enjoyed the film. Director Matt Lai believes that the market is made up of different audiences with different tastes. A niche group with a preference does not have to deprive others of their choice.  Despite this, WHAT! THE HEIST has managed to maintain its position as one of the top three Chinese New Year films this year.

According to sources at The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS), WHAT! THE HEIST, which is currently ranked 11th in Malaysia's all-time box office list for Malaysian Chinese films, is rapidly approaching the Top 10 list. It is an attainable goal for the film's creators, and producer Jack Lim promises to reward fans with e-Angpows once the film earns RM6.5 million in total box office.

《发财联盟》直逼大马史上十大本土中文电影票房榜

 大马贺岁片《发财联盟》在马新开画以来票房走势凌厉，截至年初9大马票房超过 430万马币，新加坡也接近400千新币，总票房直逼550万马币。同时也是马来西亚4年以来唯一突破400万马币的本土中文电影。现暂居本土中文电影史上票房榜第十一位。

《发财联盟》在深受观众欢迎的同时，却看见了两极化的口碑。刚开始的时候，大部分的留言都是“非常好看，好笑”。但票房走势升高后却涌入一些负面的酸民留言。导演赖健雄及监制林德荣刚开始也虚心接受批评，认为无法满足所有的观众。但某些社交平台的用户不甘罢休，一直在不同的平台煽动观众不要去看《发财联盟》。原本导演觉得非常不开心，但不断收到的好评还是占了绝大部分，最后放下心结认为只要“普罗大众”喜欢就好了。

导演赖健雄认为市场上有不同的电影种类供于不同类型的观众，大家可各随意选择自己喜欢的电影。但一群小圈子的观众却认为他们的观点就是等于全世界，否定了其他观众的口味。导演说《发财联盟》都上了十多天了，排名还是站稳3强证明了还是有很多观众觉得是一部好看的电影。

赖健雄说，根据FINAS 大马电影局的资料仓库《发财联盟》目前只差少许就会打入马来西亚十大中文电影票房纪录，这也是《发财联盟》接下来重点目标。为此，监制林德荣也做出承诺如果马新总票房超过650万马币就派发电子红包给粉丝以表感谢。

 [Concert Coverage] Hello! STAYC 1^stFan Meeting In Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, February 2023 – The SWITH had a fantastic night as they got to meet their favourite idol STAYC in Zepp Kuala Lumpur!

The six girls Park Si-Eun, Se-Eun, Sumin, ISA, Yoon, and J have completely mesmerised the SWITH with their energetic dancing and singing, kicking off the event with powerful and upbeat performances of "So Bad" and "Beautiful Monster."

After the first two performances, there was a brief VCR footage before STAYC returned to the stage for a chit chat! They are very impressive because all of the members introduced themselves in very accurate Bahasa Malaysia. During the conversation, STAYC demonstrated their Bahasa Malaysia by saying "Saya Cinta Padamu,""Mantap,""Saya Rindu Padamu," and the newly learned "Terima Kasih"! We can see how much effort they put into the fans meeting!

STAYCteased fans about their upcoming album and shared several songs during the chit chat session. The new album includes two songs: "Poppy" and "Teddy Bear!" They shared that "Poppy" is a song about Pop and Happiness!

STAYC then read all of the messages submitted by fans. They actually answered the questions nicely on stage and even sang songs requested by the fans!

STAYC then proceeded with the performance of "RUN2U" and "So what"! It was a youthful and lively performance!

Then we moved on to the game segment, which featured STAYC vs STAYC on stage! They renamed one of their teams "Poppy," and another was given a Malaysian name, "Mantap"! They played a ping pong challenge game in which they chose a random instrument to be used in hitting and keeping a ping pong ball in the air as long as they could. Slippers, a bottle, a large tray, and other humourous instruments were given to them. Then they played a cup bingo game, with the "Poppy" team emerging victorious! The losing team was forced to dance to a song chosen at random.

Following that, STAYC performed a Malaysian song that they had learned, "Rasa Sayang," which is a local favourite. Their rendition is so cute and lovely. In addition, they showed the fans how to do a "Poppy" dance choreography. They also took this opportunity to pose for a photo with the audience! They then proceeded to perform "I'll be there"!

After that, they went backstage for a moment, and the fans called for an encore. STAYC returned to the stage for their final performance without disappointing the audience. Before they started performing, a fan-created video on the background screen conveyed the warmth and support of Malaysian fans! The girls were touched to see such a heartwarming video from the SWITH.

 [Concert Coverage] Accusefive (告五人) “Lost & Found” 《在这座城市遇见了你》LIVE In Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, February 2023 – Taiwan's rising stars Accusefive (告五人) wowed Malaysian fans with their emotive and powerful vocals during their "Lost & Found"《在这座城市遇见了你》 Tour Live in Malaysia! The show's tickets sold out in less than two hours, and the concert venue Zepp Kuala Lumpur was completely full-house. It was their final stop on their tour, so it was extra special for them.

Starting at 8 p.m., they kicked off the show with《带我去找夜⽣活》 which fits well as the opening of a great night. Following that, they continued to perform a string of their songs, including 《丑人多作怪》,《新世界》，《你要不要吃哈密瓜》,《法兰西多士》,《跳海》，《爱人错过》and so on. All of the fans were seen having a great time as they sang along together.

Yun-an 云安was amazed by the Malaysian fans' enthusiasm because he thinks the fans here can sing very well. Richard Li n谦哥（哲谦） was also influenced by the fans' energy and began singing along while drumming. Richard's voice becomes hoarse during the greeting session as a result of the singing while drumming. Tsai Hsin-lun, a.k.a. Chuan Ching, 犬青  was also impressed by Malaysian fans' ability to remember their songs' lyrics. The trio stated that the Malaysian crowd was one of the best they had seen during their 40-city tour.

In addition, Accusefive (告五人)  shared about their trip in Malaysia. There was a funny moment when Chuan Ching accidentally mentioned being in "Singapore" which she quickly aware and changed back the greeting address to fans in "Kuala Lumpur". During the interaction, they mentioned how much they enjoyed the food in Malaysia, particularly the popular Chicken wings and Musang King. Yun-an stated that he used to think the durian odour was very "geli," but he had no idea that the Musang King durian in Malaysia could be this delicious.

Chuan Ching mentioned that she had heard that Malaysian fans were requesting an extra show. But, not wanting to mislead the fans, she quickly clarified that they are holding a new tour, which will begin in Taipei. They asked the fans if they wanted to come. Without any doubt, the fans on the ground shouted "Yes".

Accusefive (告五人) continues to sing nonstop after their brief but sweet interaction with the fans, delivering their awesome music to the fans. Fans can hear their favourite songs like 《给你一瓶魔法药水》，《温蒂公主的侍卫》，《WeWe》，《红》，《运气来的若有似无》，《与海无关》，《夜里无星》,《同样一个你》，《在这座城市遗失了你》and《爱在夏天》  The concert also included a great visual treat, with the background screen filled with either animated lyrics or footage related to the meaning of the song's lyrics. After Accusefive (告五人)  left the stage, the audience began yelling for an encore. In addition to screaming for an encore, the fans began singing the remaining songs to signal Accusefive's return to the stage for an encore. Malaysia has some of the most ardent fans!

Aside from that, some fans actually brought their albums with them in the hopes of getting autographs. To the fans' surprise, Accusefive actually assisted in signing one of the fans' albums. They told the fans that they hope their company can arrange another tour in Malaysia and that they can do an autograph signing session for the fans as well! The fans requested that they perform their new songs during the encore session. To avoid revealing too much about their upcoming songs, they fulfilled the fans' request by singing a segment of the new song without the accompaniment of instruments. They then continued to enchant the audience with their final three encore songs, which included 《唯一》，《从没有去过巴塞隆纳》and《披星戴月的想你》.  The concert was fantastic, and many fans left with smiles and a feeling of fulfillment.

 [Upcoming Event] Westlife "The Wild Dreams Tour" @ Axiata Arena. Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, February 2023 - Westlife's The Wild Dreams Tour Live In Kuala Lumpur, organised by Trumpet International, will take place at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur on the 23rd and 24th of February 2023 (Thursday and Friday), at 8.30 p.m. 

Westlife was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1998 by Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. To date, the band has released 12 studio albums and sold over 55 million records. Westlife has always been a success story. The first five singles from its self-titled debut album all reached No. 1, setting a chart record that has yet to be broken. 

Westlife's latest tour is titled Wild Dreams, after the band's new studio album, which was released in November of last year. The members describe the album as "uplifting," and say the songs were inspired by the pandemic's challenges.

Kuala Lumpur, February 2023 – MAMAMOO, a popular South Korean girl group, has returned to Malaysia after their last performance in Malaysia in 2018 at the K-WAVE 2 Music Festival. This time, they brought their "MAMAMOO WORLD TOUR [MYCON] - KUALA LUMPUR" to Malaysians at Malawati Indoor Stadium in Shah Alam.

The group of four members, Solar, Moonbyul, Whee In, and Hwasa, began their show with dynamic and energetic performances of "1,2,3 Eoi!", "Mr Ambiguous,""Um Oh Ah Yeh,""Dingga," and other songs.

In between performances, there is some video footage to allow the girls to change their costumes. As MAMAMOO is back to the stage, they thanked the Malaysian MooMoos with Malaysian words like "Terima Kasih" and "Aku Cinta Padamu".

During the concert, each of them also cover their own version of solo songs "Water Color"(Solar singing Whee In’s song),"Eclipse"(Hwasa singing Moonbyul’s song)"Honey"(Whee In singing Solar’s song) and "Twit" (Moonbyul singing Hwasa’s song) They have demonstrated their powerful vocals, amazing rapping, and intricate choreography. Following this, four of them continued to perform their solo songs, but with a MAMAMOO's four members' version. It's great to see all four of them performing one of our favourite songs, "Maria"!

Aside from that, the show featured a great stage set up, backdrop screen effects, and footages that were a visual treat for the audience!

Another highlight of the night was MAMAMOO being surprised by MooMoos' fan-made footage, which was followed by Solar'sbirthday celebration. Solar expressed gratitude to the MooMoos.Furthermore, the four girls have had a lot of fun on stage, demonstrating their mastery of many Malaysian words like "terbaik,""walaoeh,""Alamak," and so on. The audience was ecstatic as they kept mentioning "Walaoeh"and "Alamak"on stage.

The atmosphere peaked as they continued to perform their hit songs such as "Hip" and "Egotistic" as we can see all of the fans were singing along to the lines of the songs and screaming their lungs out with excitement. Fans at the Rock Zone can also take home some of the items thrown down by MAMAMOO, such as hand towels, hats, and so on.

During their encore, they returned to the stage and sang songs like "Yes I am,""L.I.E.C" and "Um Oh Ah Yeah" to the audience! They thanked the MooMoos for the fantastic night in Kuala Lumpur and expressed their desire to return!

 MAMAMOO狂飙大马用语 “WALAOEH”、“ALAMAK”!

（吉隆坡讯）韩国实力女团MAMAMOO继2018年来马参与《K-WAVE 2 Music Festival》后，时隔5年终于带着《MAMAMOO WORLD TOUR [MYCON] – KUALA LUMPUR》来马!

四人以去年发行的新歌《1,2,3 Eoi!》开场，紧接着带来《Mr. Ambiguous》、《Um Oh Ah Yeh》、《Dingga》等歌曲展现唱跳实力。此外，她们还在演唱会上挑战互换成员的SOLO歌曲，颂乐先是带来辉人的《Water Color》，华莎演唱玟星的《Eclipse》，紧接着辉人唱出颂乐的《Honey》，最后由玟星带来华莎的《Twit》，四人完成第一轮的个人舞台后，再合体唱跳对方的SOLO歌曲。

此趟来马的她们还学了不少马来语，当中包括“terima kasih”、“aku cinta kamu”、“terbaik”等。四人还抛出道地用语包括“walaoeh”、“alamak”等，引起全场爆笑。

大马MOOMOO（官方粉丝昵称）也十分给力，除了尖叫声不断还会跟着唱和。当MAMAMOO演唱送给粉丝的歌曲《I Love Too》（绝不放手〉时，全场拿出应援手幅回应：“不管MAMAMOO的眼睛望向哪个方向，我们一直都在。”除了送上专属于大马的应援影片，大马MOOMOO还准备生日蛋糕，提前为2月21日生日的颂乐庆生，让颂乐感动直喊：“Kuala Lumpur,thank you（谢谢吉隆坡）！”
