[Upcoming Event] MELOSAGA: MALAYSIA STREET DANCE AND MUSIC FESTIVAL (Dual Language Article)

The inaugural MELOSAGA Malaysia Street Dance and Music Festival will celebrate music at MIECC in January 2023, with KPOP heavyweights Zico and Crush headlining the three-day event.

Kuala Lumpur, December 2022– The MELOSAGA Malaysia Street Dance and Music Festival, Malaysia's first and largest Street Dance and Music Festival, has announced the list of Showcasing Artists who have been invited to perform at the inaugural event, which will take place from 13 January to 15, 2023.

The Festival, co-presented by UNC Entertainment and Base Entertainment Asia, is a must-see street dance and music event on the festival calendar, and will take place at the MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) in Kuala Lumpur.

MELOSAGA will take place over three days and will feature three events that will provide an all-encompassing experience that will entice festival goers to leave their hustle and bustle behind and immerse themselves in a whirlwind of music and dance as well as street culture discovery - ESCAPISM; the concert, BATTLESAGA; international and local dance competitions, and K-DIMENSION; a K-Culture Carnival with 100 carnival booths.

K-DIMENSION

K-DIMENSION, the K-Culture component, will be held on all three days to showcase the magic of K-Culture and K-Pop.

The Phaze International, an international dance showcase competition, will take centre stage on the first day of K-Dimension 2023, hoping to build on the success of the first season in 2022 by attracting dancers from more than 25 countries to compete for a USD 5,000 cash prize and the opportunity to perform as the opening act on ESCAPISM.

Festivalgoers will also have the opportunity to participate in the YG Audition for YG Entertainment, the K-Pop mega label best known as the agency behind the success of BLACKPINK and BIG BANG.

Aside from the chance to see YGX, YG Entertainment's dance arm, which includes two female choreographers, Yeo Jin and Jihyo, who are BLACKPINK's backup dancers and also from 'Street Women Fighter,'and a male choreographer, Moodok from 'Street Man Fighter,' K-DIMENSION also allows participants to learn from famous artist choreographers from South Korea at the YGX Star Workshop.

ESCAPISM

ESCAPISM is a street music festival that will take place on 14 January 2023 and will feature K-Pop heavyweights Zico and Crushamong the headliners who will be making their debut appearances in Malaysia, as well as Shigga Shay, YGX, DOLLA, ForceParkBois, DJ Raiden, 3P, and many more familiar to Malaysian music fans.

BATTLE SAGA

The Festival's street dance component features an impressive mix of local and international dance competitions, beginning with the RF JAM MALAYSIA QUALIFIER ROUND. The winners of the 4v4 Breaking and 3v3 All-Style competitions will receive a sponsored trip to RF JAM 2023 in Vietnam.

On the same day, there will be an SDACA Championship, in which international and national all-star dancers will compete for the title of BATTLESAGAchampion.

"“More than just the headliners, MELOSAGAis the first-of-its-kind street music and dance competitions and carnival in Malaysia, which brings together an impressive line-up of regional performances, workshops and street culture elements, here at Kuala Lumpur. Developed as an alcohol-free event, it is suitable for young and old alike." said Dylan Chyo, founder of UNC Entertainment.

MELOSAGA tickets is already on sale since 9 p.m. on 8^th December 2022, for RM 35.

ESCAPISM ticket prices start at RM259 for basic admission, RM359for Cat B, RM459 for CAT A, and RM559 for Rock Zone. Prices do not include the processing fee or transaction fees. Between December 8 and 11, there is a 10% Early Bird discount.

首届MELOSAGA 马来西亚街舞音乐节于2023 年1月在MIECC引爆

K-pop巨星Zico与Crush 将担任演唱会头牌艺人

吉隆坡– 马来西亚首个最大的街舞音乐节MELOSAGA公布了即将于2023 年1 月13 日至15 日举行的首届活动中表演的艺人名单。

这项即将在吉隆坡国际会展中心(MIECC) 举行的活动是由UNC Entertainment 和Base Entertainment Asia 联合主办，音乐节爱好者不可错失的街舞和音乐活动。

跨越三天的MELOSAGA将为音乐节粉丝们提供全方位的体验，让他们抛开喧嚣并沉浸在音乐和舞蹈的魅力中，探索街头文化。三个活动的主题分别是：ESCAPISM - 演唱会，BATTLESAGA - 国际和本地舞蹈比赛，以及K-DIMENSION – 拥有100 个嘉年华摊位的韩流文化嘉年华。

K-DIMENSION

K-DIMENSION作为该节目的韩流文化组成部分，将横跨三天的活动，以展示K-Culture 和K-Pop 的魅力。 国际舞蹈展示比赛The Phaze International 作为K-Dimension第一天的焦点，主办方寄予厚望，期待这次的比赛能随2022年第一季的成功之后，再度吸引超过25 个国家与地区的舞者争夺高达5,000 美元的现金奖励。而胜出者也将获得在ESCAPISM演唱会作开场表演。

音乐节的出席者也将有机会参加以成功打造了BLACKPINK 和BIG BANG等而闻名的韩国唱片公司YG娱乐所举办的YG练习生选秀活动。

除了有机会见识到YG娱乐舞蹈部门YGX的Yeo Jin 和Jihyo两位女性编舞及BLACKPINK伴舞，和来自“街头霸王”的Moodok男性编舞的风采，K-Dimension也将举办YGX Star Workshop为参加者开放向韩国著名编舞家学习的机会。

Chinese Biggest Rock Band MAYDAY to Stage their “Fly to 2023” World Tour Concert in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, December 2022 - The highly anticipated MAYDAY world tour concert is finally coming to Malaysia, so stay tuned and let’s get excitement!

MAYDAY, dubbed the Chinese mega-band, last performed in Malaysia in 2017 and drew a crowd of over 25,000 people to the Stadium Merdeka. MAYDAY will return to Malaysia after more than 5 years away with their new tour, "Fly to 2023," to reconnect with fans.

MAYDAY, comprised of lead vocalist Ashin, bassist Masa, drummer Guan You, and guitarists Stone and Monster, has a wide range of fans. [Entertainment] Premiere Screening of Mark Lee’s First Dance Music Video 《一代中师》(Dual Language Article) 

December 2022, Kuala Lumpur -Mark Lee 李国煌 who just won “Asia Best Comedy Actor”at Asian Academy Creative Awards has just released his first dance song music video 《一代中师》.

In addition, Mark Lee has visited Malaysia Pavilion Dadi Cinema for the premiere of his music video. During the premiere, he spoke with members of the media about his experiences while filming the video.

The song was written by musician Jovi Theng (汤小康) who incorporated a lot of Chinese traditional medicine philosophy and theories into the lyrics. Mark Lee has faced some difficulties as a result of the lyrics' complexity.

He stated that his initial goal was to impress his child with his attempt. However, he stated that his child does not appear to be impressed and will point out his mistakes. When asked by the media whether he would perform with his daughter someday, he stated that he would not rule out the possibility.

He also praised Aaron Kwok's recent performance at the Hong Kong TV Station's anniversary celebration. He realized how difficult it is to be a dancing singer after attempting to dance himself.

Mark Lee plays the role of a Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner in the music video, which is directed by 阿宝. This is his first attempt at rapping while dressed in a traditional costume.

Finally, he mentioned that he might be working on a drama based on the setting in 《一代中师》. In addition, in April 2023, he will travel to Thailand to film 《男儿王 2》2 in Thailand.

李国煌首支唱跳MV《一代中师》

女儿嫌弃他跨界当唱跳歌手

吉隆坡, 2022 -李国煌刚于上星期在新加坡首次拿下亚洲影艺创意大奖颁发的「亚洲最佳喜剧演员奖」后，如今再创新高峰，推出首支个人唱跳 MV《一代中师》。

为了表示对《一代中师》MV 的看重，李国煌特意于今早来到马来西亚Pavilion 大地影院举行首映礼。他在首映礼当天，除了与大家分享他拍摄MV 和演唱时的趣事，也与舞蹈员现场为大家演唱，让本地媒体和来宾成为首批观看李国煌现场跳舞表演的幸运儿。

发布会后接受媒体联访时，李国煌表示，「当我接受这份挑战后，就很兴奋的跟孩子说，我要当唱跳歌手了，结果却换来他们嫌弃和不屑的眼神。看来，我是无法和他们心目中的 BTS们相对比的。」

这首由汤小康作词作曲，美之雅出品的《一代中师》以中国传统医学十二经脉理论为主题，道出了五千年中华医术中的通、清、调、补理念。歌词除了融入了人体的各个器官，还写出了十二经脉的交接与流注名称，是一首非常考验李国煌记忆力的歌曲。

「除了歌词难外，我真心觉得舞蹈部分也是最难的。」他表示，自己是在拍摄 MV前一天才来到马来西亚学舞。「这次我特意带著大女儿来看我跳舞，虽然她只是安静的坐在旁边看，但一当我跳错，她就会出来指正我。我承认，舞蹈真的是年轻人的天地。」

当被记者问及会不会有天父女同台表演时，他大方表示并不排除这个可能性。

他也在台上大赞郭富城早前在台庆上的表演，「没有亲自又唱又跳过，就不知道其中的辛苦，所以我真心佩服那些唱跳歌手们。」但当被问及会否再下一城，拥有自己的第二首唱跳作品时，他很开心的表示唱跳是会上瘾的，「当觉得自己做得到之后，就会有种欲罢不能的感觉，所以我不排除有下一个唱跳作品出现。」

汤小康也在记者会表示，当初会写下这首歌的原因是某一天与美之雅创办人吴清文闲聊时，明白到对方努力传承中医药文化精髓的用心，便决定把两人的谈话内容，及自己对于中医十二经脉的认知，写成一首歌来宣扬中医的博大精深。

「这首歌本来是要写给我自己唱的，但是吴清文听了后，就建议要交给李国煌唱，而且还要拍成MV。」汤小康有点难以相信，李国煌会答应接下这首歌曲，而且还要在 MV里跳舞，但是当看到 MV后，连他都真心觉得李国煌真的是一名多才多艺的全面型艺人。

在吴清文的牵线下，李国煌答应演唱《一代中师》，更于 11月中旬来马拍摄由阿宝执导的 MV。李国煌在MV中饰演古代的一位著名中医师，专门替人看病配药。歌曲轻快跳跃，李国煌不但得跳舞，更得挑战饶舌说唱，把十二经脉给 Rap出来。

李国煌坦言，这首歌开创了他的多个第一次，第一次饶舌说唱、第一次穿古装跳舞，而且也是从影 30年以来，人生中的首支个人 MV，也代表了李国煌真正跨足歌唱领域的新开始。

在结尾时，李国煌也透露了有可能开拍《一代中师》连续剧。另外，明年 4月也会到泰国去和真正的人妖一起拍《男儿王2》。

[Concert Coverage] 2022 JJ Lin 林俊杰《JJ20》World Tour Malaysia @ Bukit Jalil National Stadium (Dual language coverage)

Kuala Lumpur, December 2022- It was a great night at Bukit Jalil National Stadium as JJ Lin 林俊杰has made a return to Malaysia with his 2022 JJ Lin "JJ20" World Tour Malaysia. The concert drew approximately 30,000 people, and JJ Lin performed for three hours, including many of his classic songs! In addition to that, the show also featured prominent guests artistes’ performances.

The concert began with the first act of the show, "Memories  记忆," which featured a video presentation that blended his footage with an animated version of him. During this segment, he has performed memorable songs such as  “记得”，”木乃伊”，”美人鱼”，”茉莉雨” and “醉赤壁”.

Following this segment, JJ Lin greeted fans and informed them that the 18th of December 2022 is a good day because the World Cup Finale falls on the same day too.  He promised to make the fans' night unforgettable.

Following that, he proceeded with the performance of “关键词”. JJ continued to captivate fans with  “豆浆油条” and “小酒窝” after a video presentation touching on "Dream" with a mix of his own footage and an anime version of him. He performed these two songs on acoustic guitar, giving them a completely different interpretation! This was a dream come true for the fans who had been waiting for his return to Malaysia for so long.

JJ then interacted with the fans again before proceeding with another few of his amazing songs "当你", "那些你很冒险的梦" and "因你而在"。

He asked the fans to sing along if they knew the lyrics. Well, of course, it was not a difficult tasks for the fans. He also took his time to greet all of his fans who came from all around the globe. A lot of fans actually brought along LED board to support their idol! Worth mentioning is, during the performance for this segment, there was "Strings" orchestra backing the music. It was like a full-course concert with orchestra and JJ Lin's incredible LIVE vocal! During "因你而在" JJ even invited his backing singers to the front of the stage to perform with him!

Another video presentation touching on "Universe" took over the stage before JJ went for another costume change. During this segment, he performed “新地球”，“子弹列车”，”Wonderland”and “While I can” while on a storeys high platform with techno background scenes. He then delivered another breathtaking performance of “不存在的情人” .

JJ then delivered an emotional speech about how we should all stay strong and fight negativity. Then he performed “黑夜问白天”，”无尽的思念”,“交换余生”,”Lose Control”, “Like You Do”,” 不死之身”,”我还想她”,”最好是”and “西界”.

JJ Lin then continue to amuse the fans with his piano skills. During this segment, he provided a key and asked the fans to guess his songs. Uns urprisingly, the audience correctly identified the song as soon as they heard the key. During this section, he has performed ”Love U U”, “可惜没如果”and “爱笑的眼睛”！

JJ then welcomed guest artist Patti 蔡宥綺, the first JFJ new singer, onto the stage to perform “亲爱的的陌生人” alongside him! JJ Lin and Patti both mentioned how welcoming Malaysian fans are! JJ then remembered his time as Ah Du's 阿杜 assistant. JJ mentioned that he is currently preparing songs for Patti.

After the collaboration performance with Patti, JJ proceeded with another two songs “幸存者” and “修炼爱情”. During middle of the performance of "修炼爱情", a surprising guest artist made an appearance. The guest artist was Jackson Wang 王嘉尔 who just had his concert a day prior. They both sang  “过 (Should've Let Go)” on stage for the first time!

He then continued to perform “将故事写成我们” and “江南”. After these two songs, JJ took his time to thank the guests artistes, the concert crews and the audience. He also thanked his mother, who was in the audience that night.  He also took the time to thank the musician Eric Lin 林秋离 who recently passed away. Eric Lin 林秋离 has collaborated with him on many songs, including 江南, 曹操, 殺手 and 新地球. He then proceeded with "不为谁而作的歌" before another intermission video footage being shown.

He then returned to the stage to perform the final few songs, which included  “7千3百多天”, “不潮不用花钱”, “最向往的地方”, “伟大的渺小”,“一定会” and lastly “一千年以后”.

It was a really amazing concert packed with long list of JJ Lin's songs and it's definitely an ultimate treat for the fans. In 2023,  JJ Lin will continue his tour to North America, Europe, and Australia.

2022年即將邁入尾聲，JJ 林俊傑《JJ20》世界巡迴演唱會— 吉隆坡站(18/12/22)於武吉加里爾體育場正式開唱，相隔3年再與馬來西亞樂迷見面，JJ不僅將多首經典曲目重新編曲，更演唱近年推出的新歌一次滿足現場近30,000位樂迷；此外，他一樣毫無保留帶來《JJ20》完整舞台，從開場絢麗的水晶鋼琴到現場令人震撼的舞台、燈光及視覺，JJ將這3年積蓄的能量一次釋放，讓觀眾再一次見證JJ的舞台進化！令人驚喜的是，昨晚Jackson Wang 王嘉爾竟無預警擔任嘉賓，兩人更合體演唱曾合作的單曲—〈過(Should've Let Go) 〉，一登場即全場暴動；兩人也將私下逗趣的互動搬上舞台，好交情由此可見一斑，也為演唱會再創一波高潮。

而昨晚《JJ20》也無預警的獻上驚喜！當演唱〈修煉愛情〉接近尾聲時，突然間JJ 身邊多了一位「神秘嘉賓」；竟是前一日(12/17) 同樣在吉隆坡開唱的Jackson Wang 王嘉爾！當王嘉爾一出場，全場瞬間歡聲雷動；而JJ與王嘉爾的好交情眾所周知，這次兩人更充滿緣分的分別在17、18號各自在吉隆坡開唱，當時消息一出，其實早就有歌迷敲碗希望能看見彼此出現在對方的演唱會上，沒想到JJ 在前一天先是在社群貼出了與王嘉爾4年前、4年後的合照，昨晚更在演唱會現場默默的幫大家圓了這個夢！

而王嘉爾一上台即搞笑戴上工作證，笑說自己剛才就是這樣光明正大的走進現場，並表示：「哥辦演唱會，弟當然要來。」JJ配合度滿分回說：「我還在想說你是怎麼進來的，我還已經跟他們說你不來了！」接著JJ又提到：「好難得我們可以同時在一個地方、還同時出現在這個舞台上，我們是好朋友有段時間了，但這是你第一次出現在我的演唱會！」而這難得的同台，JJ 也與王嘉爾首度合唱兩人先前的合作曲〈過(Should've Let Go) 〉，再創《JJ20》經典現場。

演唱會接近尾聲，JJ 感性的提到在這20年間，每個因為音樂所相遇的人、事、物，都讓他格外珍惜，也因為有這樣難得的緣分，他一直以來都把握著每個與大家相處及見面的時光。JJ 也在演唱會特別感謝在音樂路上對他至關重要的林秋離老師，JJ說道：「他曾經跟我說：『JJ，你在現實生活中是個長不大的孩子，但是在音樂世界裡，你可以非常的瀟灑、可以角色扮演、可以當個英雄。』於是我們一起完成了很多經典作品，如〈江南〉、〈曹操〉、〈殺手〉、〈新地球〉等等；他是我在音樂領域的英雄；雖然老師在12/12 離開了我們，但我會繼續努力，期許自己不要辜負他，林老師我會想你。」語畢音樂響起，JJ 90度鞠躬好一陣，接著唱合作的〈不為誰而作的歌〉，間中數度哽咽，讓台下觀眾萬分不捨。

演唱會最後，JJ則以〈一千年以後〉為演唱會劃下句點。《JJ20》世界巡迴演唱會接著將在2023年前往美加、歐洲...等各地城市演出。

 [Press Conference] Call Me Agent 《我要做特务》

Petaling Jaya, December 2022 – The film "Call Me Agent 《我要做特务》" which was shot in 2018 with the collaboration of Hong Kong and Malaysian filmmakers, will finally be released on the big screen. The film's release date has been pushed back for several years due to the COVID19 pandemic. The film is directed by two directors: Eric Lam 蓝兆基 from Hong Kong and Michael Chuah 蔡业翰from Malaysia. Dramovie Group Hong Kong and Evo Pictures Malaysia produced the film. The movie is also produced by Gabriel Wong 黄一山 and Sammy So 庖丁 (Hong Kong).

Sammy So hopes that the film will be well received by the public, so that it can allow him to pursue more collaboration projects between Malaysia and Hong Kong.

The film's casting was done in Malaysia to find the main characters. Mimi Chu, Vincent Luk 陆俊贤, Po Yiu Wong 黄宝瑶, Yoyo Pun 潘瑶, and Kiddie Tsang 曾颂珊 from Hong Kong star in the film, as does Belle Lee from Malaysia.

Michael Chuah says he is honoured to be able to participate in this collaboration with Hong Kong because he has always enjoyed watching Hong Kong films since he was a child.

The film will finally be released on 22nd December 22, and the Hong Kong team will be in Malaysia for the entire month to promote it.

Po Yiu Wong expresses her gratitude for the opportunity to star in the film, stating that she did not expect to be chosen in the project's audition, and that being chosen as the female lead was a dream come true for her.

Vincent Luk, who has been praised by the producer and director for his commitment and dedication, plays a secret agent in the film, and because the film contains a number of action sequences, both main actors spent months training for the action scenes in Hong Kong and Malaysia.

“Call Me Agent” tells the story of Miu Ling (Po Yiu Wong),a young woman who aspires to be a secret agent. Despite the fact that it appears impossible, she continues to harbour such a dream and hopes that it will come true in the future.

She saves an injured secret agent Wing (Vincent Luk), who promises to make her his apprentice. Her life is turned upside down from then on, and she embarks on a wild ride of adventures.

 [Exclusive Interview] Chu Mimi @ Call Me Agent 《我要做特务》Press conference

Chu Mimi, who played Poyiu Wong's mother in the film, has taken a flight to attend the show's promotional activities. During the pandemic, she spent two years in Singapore and Malaysia. She recently travelled to Hong Kong to film a Chinese New Year show. Unfortunately, she contracted COVID19 on the third day of her visit to Hong Kong. Fortunately, her symptoms are not life-threatening.

Chu Mimi expressed that she originally planned to film 6 episodes of CNY show. However, due to the cold weather, she decided to skip the second half of the show. In fact she was supposed to be a guest for 《奖门人》. But due to the same reason, she had to skip that too.

During the interview, she also mentioned that her schedule has been packed until next year April 2023. Apart from performing a charity concert on March 2023, she’s planning for a concert in RW Genting Highlands next year April 2023.

She also mentioned that she has been recommending all the co-stars in “Call Me Agent” to try some of the local delicacies. She specifically mentioned that she really love the fried glutinous rice cake

 [Coverage] Annyeong Kawan with Lee Jae Wook (Featuring Kisum) @ PJPAC

Petaling Jaya, December 2022 – The Korea Tourism Organization Malaysia (KTO) has organised an Annyeong Kawan with Lee Jae Wook event this week 20th December 2022 at PJPAC, featuring the presence of their honorary ambassador Lee Jae Wook and a guest performance byKisum.

Lee Jae Wook, the main star of Netflix's popular Korean series "Alchemy Of Souls," is visiting Malaysia for the first time. During his arrival at KLIA airport, he was greeted by more than 500 fans.

Kisum opened the event with a fantastic upbeat performance. Kisum's incredible performance has enlivened the atmosphere. She even got down on the ground and interacted with the fans. Many fans got to hi-5 with her (including us, the media members in the front row), and some even got to take selfies with her.

Because of Kisum's strong start, the subsequent introductory speeches were met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Finally, the appearance of Lee Jae Wook on stage was the night's highlight. On stage, the main signing event of Lee Jae Wook as KTO ambassador took place. It was then followed by a Q&A session with Lee Jae Wook. During this session, he discussed his favourite hobbies, foods, seasons, and other activities in South Korea. His interests include cycling and skiing. He stated that all of these tourist attractions and activities will be best experienced by the audience themselves.

Then, the fans-servicing moments have arrived! The audience was tested on their knowledge of South Korean tourism spots and questions during a Kahoot! session. The No. 1 winner received a Samsung smartphone, while the first and second runners-up received one of Lee Jae Wook's personal items. Of course, they all get to pose for a photo with Lee Jae Wook on stage. Following that, there were lucky draw sessions where fans could get up close and personal with Lee Jae Wook and take photos with him!

Overall, it was a fantastic event for fans to meet their favourite celebrity Lee Jae Wook, as well as for Malaysians to learn more about South Korea. After attending this event, I have a strong desire to visit South Korea!

Kuala Lumpur, December 2022 -  2022 Park Eun-Bin Asia Fan Meeting Tour “EUN-BIN NOTE: BINKAN” in Kuala Lumpur has finally taken place in Malaysia at StarXpo Centre, KWC Fashion Wholesale on 24th December 2022. 

The event began with Park Eun-Bin greeting her fans with her charming and adorable first song performance titled "Hello!" Following the song, Eun-Bin addressed the audience in Malay, saying "Apa Khabar?" and many other Malay phrases. She has taken the time to learn as many Malay words as she can so that she can greet Malaysian fans even more personally. She also thanked the fans for attending the fan meeting and showing her their support.

When emcee Owen Yap asked Eun-Bin if she was going to give a lot of gifts to the fans! She replied, "Yes," and the emcee joked that she would be like Santa Claus to the fans!

The title "BINKAN" was chosen for her tour because she wanted to fill the empty spaces in the fans' lives by making them sparkling spaces instead.

First and foremost, they shared Park Eun-Bin's recent profile information, such as her birthday, height (which was cutely labelled as "below 2m"), and so on.

She revealed her most recent TMI, in which she has been living a day and night upside down. She had gotten up at 5 a.m. the day before. Despite this, she was excited to meet the Malaysian fans, whom she referred to as "Terbaik"!

When asked to use weather to express her mood, she said "Bright"weather is her mood when she's in Malaysia. During the event, she stated that her goal was to spend a happy and joyous Christmas Eve with everyone who attended.

She taught the fans a word called "Saranghae" (I love you). The fans all yelled "Saranghae" to her after she finished teaching them!

Eun-Bin was also interested in learning more about the Malaysian fans. Thus,  a few fan statements were chosen to be addressed to Park Eun-Bin. Her fans have praised her dedication and acting abilities. Some fans also stated that Park Eun-Bin was the first Korean artist to make them fall in love with Korean drama.

She also chose the questions from a board covered in sticky notes and answered them to the fans! Malaysia was her final stop on her Asia Tour, and she stated that if given the chance, she would visit more countries! One of the fans inquired about her feelings about spending Christmas in a hot country like Malaysia. She explained that this was her first Christmas in a hot country. She felt warmer because she could sense the love from her Malaysian fans! Emcee Owen Yap attempted to teach her how to say "I love you" in Bahasa Malaysia, but Park Eun-Bin responded cheekily that she had already learned and knew the words! She responded that she would inform the fans later that night!

She then revealed information about Eun-Bin that fans may not be aware of. During this session, Eun-Bin interacted with the fans by allowing them to choose her preferences in various situations, such as her favourite sleepwear, preferred trips, and so on. She chose three fans and congratulated them with "Tahniah"! In fact, the last winner was selected after winning "Rock, Scissor, Paper" with Park Eun-Bin! Fans were given Eco Bags with designs drawn LIVE on stage by Park Eun-Bin. She drew a rabbit (her favourite animal), a whale, and a reindeer with a snowman on the bags, as well as her autographs!

She then went backstage to change her clothes while a video footage created especially for her fans was shown on screen!

She then performed her second song of the night, "The Blue Night Of Jeju Island," following all of the discussion sessions. Bubbles were blown during this session, creating a dreamy and memorable scene! The song was an OST from "Extraordinary Attorney Woo," and Park Eun-Bin performed the entire song live!

Subsequently Eun-Bin proceeded with another talk session titled "Park Eun-bin,who possesses the charm of a drawing paper". Park Eun-Bin spoke about 2022 during the session. It was a year of love for him, and it was a year for her to meet all of her fans! She also admitted that she does not enjoy new challenges. However, acting has given her the opportunity to try many new things and face new challenges. During this session, the emcee also shared with Eun-Bin about three of the fans' favourite Park Eun-Bin acting scenes! They also shared three of Park Eun-Bin's most famous lines! Following this session, Malaysian fans prepared a video message to Park Eun-Bin, while fans on the ground held a banner that read, "Instead of Sunlight, Starlight, and Moonlight, it is Eunbin's light that shines brightly on our binkan." To the fans, Eun-Bin said, "Aku Cinta Padamu!"

The fans have also prepared cake for her and sang “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” to her. To the fans’ surprise, Park Eun-Bin actually also prepared that song as her last song of the night!

Park Eun-Bin has also taken the time to thank everyone who has contributed to the success of the show including Namoo Actors, Trumpet International and many more!

The event was then followed by her final song performances, "Glittery" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas," as she celebrated Christmas with the lucky Malaysian fans.

Finally, she has a "Hi Bye Session"with the fans, which is the night's highlight! It was an unforgettable event, especially for the fans!

• From 21st March 2023 to 30th July 2023, at Pavilion Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

• The exhibition is held to shed light on Tim Burton's most original art world full of imagination and fantasy. 

• The mesmerising world tour exhibition of Tim Burton makes its debut in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the first time in South East Asia.

The Exhibition's Introduction

The World of Tim Burton, organised by Toybox Projects Sdn Bhd in collaboration with partners Eurasian Entertainment Consultants Ltd and KOL Nation Sdn Bhd and supported by venue partner Pavilion Bukit Jalil, focuses on the distinct characters and worlds that could only come from Tim Burton's singular imagination.

The World of Tim Burton, with approximately 540 works—including signature pieces from the Tim Burton retrospective as well as over 150 new works not seen in the MoMA exhibition tour—allows new audiences to experience Burton's art in person for the first time while also providing familiar visitors with an in-depth look further into his sensibility.

The premiere of Burton's art exhibition in New York was the third most-attended exhibition in MoMA's history, with over 800,000 visitors. This sparked the creation of The World of Tim Burton, a re-imagined exhibition inspired by MoMA's success and designed specifically for global touring. The Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul, Korea; City Gallery Prague: The Stone Bell in the Czech Republic; the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo, Japan; the Max Ernst Museum in Brühl, Germany; the Museum of Image and Sound in So Paulo, Brazil; ArtisTree Gallery in Hong Kong; and Museo Franz Mayer in Mexico City, Mexico have all hosted The World of Tim Burton tour stops.

The exhibition includes sketches, paintings, drawings, photographs, maquettes and puppets used for his film works, and life-sized sculptures from Tim Burton's early years to his most recent project. Along with the artist's signature figure of Balloon Boy at the exhibition's entrance, there are numerous, remarkable sculptures that were specially designed for the exhibition.

The World of Tim Burton Exhibition tickets will be available for the following prices on the websites of ticketing agents KOL NaCon and Ticketcharge beginning 11 January 2023, and at the exhibition venue beginning 21 March 2023.

Artist Statement

Tim Burton is widely regarded as one of the most inventive artists and filmmakers capable of achieving the most fantastic visual effects. Tim Burton, born in Burbank, California, in 1958, studied at CalArts to become a pioneer in a new dreamy, grotesque, and beautiful cinematic genre. Beetlejuice (1988), Edward Scissorhands (1990), Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), Big Fish (2003), Corpse Bride (2005), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), Alice in Wonderland (2010), Dumbo (2019), and Wednesday, currently the No. 1 TV show on Netflix worldwide.

He developed a unique artistic style known as "Burtonesque," and while he is best known as a filmmaker, Tim Burton is also a talented artist who works in fine art, photography, and sculpture.

The Exhibition's Composition

The World of Tim Burton divides Tim Burton's five-decade career into ten thematic sections. Each section includes paintings, drawings, photographs and videos, media arts, and so on.

In this exhibition, the audience will be given a special sneak peek into the current projects in progress via an exact replica of Tim Burton's personal studio where he actually works.

Section 1: INFLUENCES

Tim Burton's versatility and range, as well as the influence of his predecessors, are on display in this section, which contains the exhibition's earliest works. Burton's early drawings pay homage to classic cartoonists and illustrators such as Edward Gorey, Charles Addams, Don Martin, and Theodore Geisel (Dr. Seuss). Burton's class notes and sketches from his time at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) shed light on his formal education.

These works show significant influences from Japanese kaiju (monster) films, Expressionist Cinema, Universal Studios' horror catalogue, stop-motion animator master Ray Harryhausen, and suspense maestro Vincent Price.

Section 2: HOLIDAYS

Tim Burton's upbringing in Burbank, California, a homogeneous suburban neighbourhood that came alive only during the holiday seasons, inspired this prominent theme. This early influence, which represents a creative respite from dull monotony, can be seen throughout his work—in the form of sincere appreciation as well as a satirical wink. His illustrated poem collection The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy and Other Stories (1997) and Tim Burton's stop-motion animated musical The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), in which Halloween and Christmas are ghoulishly and gleefully linked, are two examples.

Section 3: CARNIVALESQUE

Tim Burton's films range from Beetlejuice (1988) and Batman (1989) to Alice in Wonderland (2010) and Dark Shadows (2012), as well as his personal drawings and paintings, all of which feature the theme of the "carnivalesque"—a mix of comedy and the grotesque. These selections demonstrate Burton's treatment of the seemingly opposing genres of horror and comedy.

The imagery of twisting tongues, eyeballs popping out of sockets, and poisonous clowns alludes to this dichotomous theme, which is often accompanied by deadpan wordplay humour.

Section 4: FIGURATIVE WORKS

These drawings, paintings, and sculptures, which have nothing to do with Tim Burton's professional projects, are among his most personal works. Through a distortion of perspective and the human figure, Burton depicts physical reality not as it appears, but as it is personally felt. This section includes Burton's studies for Blue Girl with Wine and The Green Man, as well as the final paintings that highlight Burton's signature aesthetic.

Section 5: MISUNDERSTOOD OUTCAST

The archetypical—and possibly autobiographical—"misunderstood outcast" is the most recognisable theme in Tim Burton's art and films. From the stop-motion animated short film Vincent (1982) to the Hollywood blockbuster Alice in Wonderland, these sympathetic monsters can be found in a variety of projects (2010). This section contains drawings and the concept maquette for Balloon Boy, a 22-foot site-specific installation commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art for its entrance lobby during the first presentation of the Tim Burton exhibition tour. This unique creation has a sad expression and embodies the characteristics of the artist's beloved outsiders.

Section 6: FILM CHARACTERS

This section provides a deeper look into familiar characters and worlds for visitors who are familiar with Tim Burton's films—from his first feature, Pee-Big wee's Adventure (1985), to his most recent, Dumbo (2019). Paintings, videos, script notes, storyboards, puppets, and maquettes demonstrate how film characters evolved from Burton's ideas to the big screen.

Section 7: POLAROIDS

Tim Burton created several series of oversized Polaroid prints between 1992 and 1999, using a rare 20 x 24 large-format instant camera. These personal photographs depict visual themes and motifs from his professional films.

Section 8: AROUND THE WORLD

The works in this section highlight the spontaneity of Tim Burton's creative process. Drawings in sketchbooks, hotel notepads, and restaurant napkins are manifestations of his restless imagination. The worldwide travels required for a film director's itinerant life—shooting locations, film festivals, publicity tours—provide inspiration and subject matter. Burton's perceptions of the people and places he encounters are reflected in the resulting dream-like imagery of hyper-reality.

Section 9: UNREALIZED PROJECTS

Tim Burton's film, television, and book projects that were halted at various stages of development reveal the breadth of his artistic output. Some of these projects never progressed past the ideation stage, whereas others in this section were fully realised but did not include any of Burton's concepts in the final product. The drawings in this section offer a rare glimpse into previously unknown projects that confirm the artist's themes and motifs. They also served as inspiration for Burton's art exhibition's exhibition design.

Section 10: THE ARTIST’S STUDIO

Tim Burton is a solitary artist who is constantly drawing, painting, and planning in his studio. For the first time, a section of Tim Burton's studio has been recreated in the exhibition, allowing visitors to see how the artist's passion and artistic spirit come to life. The sketches and drawings on cork boards are from current projects, such as the entrance sculptures for his Seoul exhibition and his new TV series project, Wednesday.

[Entertainment] 《新年一家乐Happy Together》Media Afternoon Tea Meet-up

Kuala Lumpur, December 2022– Fuying 王赴颖, Sam 沈展宁, Jeryl 李佩玲, Lovell 陈馷佳, Goh Liu Ying吴柳莹 and Wind 李诗斌 have collaborated on a Chinese New Year song titled 《新年一家乐Happy Together》for the upcoming Rabbit Lunar Year 2023. A media afternoon tea was recently held at DayOne DayOne Concept @ Petaling Street.

Fuying and Sam revealed that this is their first time performing together since they began as solo artists. In fact, they had no idea each other would be involved in the project until now. This is the 10th year post-debut for Fuying & Sam. They thanked the fans for supporting them for so long. They had no idea time flew by so quickly

Fuying and his girlfriend Lovell are also making their first media appearance together. They became the target for questions about when they would marry. Fuying admitted that it was not yet in the 2023 plan, but he would not rule it out.

Aside from that, Jeryl Lee, who has always wanted to release a dance song, was able to do so with this current collaboration in 《新年一家乐Happy Together》. She admitted that dancing and singing at the same time can be exhausting.

Lovell, who is performing the Chinese New Year song for the first time, has asked her boyfriend for singing tips. Fuying, on the other hand, replied that she can sing quite well and didn't really offer much assistance.

Goh Liu Ying, our national badminton player and Wellous ambassador, stated that this is her first time participating in a Chinese New Year song performance. Goh, who recently announced her retirement, was asked if she plans to pursue a career in the arts and acting. She replied that she will not rule out any possibility, but she aspires to be an actress.

Attitude Ideology and Wellous collaborated on this project.

《新年一家乐 Happy Together》is composed by Adam 郑如川 who has composed《虎年新年到》. The music video filming was completed in less than a month, according to the founder of Attitude Ideology. Wind , a celebrity and Wellous brand director, stated that the music video included a family photo scene for Wellous users. This is in the hopes of conveying the message that their vocals will join Wellous users in celebrating the upcoming Chinese New Year!

Fuying 王赴颖、Sam 沈展宁、Jeryl 李佩玲、Lovell 陈馷佳、吴柳莹和 Wind 李诗斌携手合唱兔年贺岁歌曲《新年一家乐Happy Together》，并于 30 日在茨厂街小时光叄号面铺举办媒体下午茶会。近年单飞不解散的 Fuying 和 Sam 自曝一开始不知道对方会参与，直到确定演唱阵容后才后知后觉发现，笑称：“是缘分让我们相遇的。”

今年正值 Fuying & Sam 出道 10 周年纪念日，Fuying 感性道：“能走到 10 年不容易，谢谢大家的支持，之前也没想过会走这么久…” Sam 则表示不想面对，只因感觉自己老了10岁。如今两人同台的机会越来越少，被问到默契程度，Sam 笑说在台湾是 90 分，无奈现在两人的中间夹着 Lovell，让 Fuying 忍不住打趣道：“你好像在吃醋欸。”

首次以情侣档之姿合唱的 Fuying 和 Lovell 成为众人催婚的对象，对此 Fuying 坦承人生大事不在 2023 年的计划中，但自己不排除结婚的可能性，一切顺其自然。一旁的 Sam 则搞笑回应：“我会在你们的婚礼唱《分开以后》的。”接着还表示要“就地取材”，与李佩玲配对成情侣。李佩玲闻言先是要 Sam 解释“就地取材”的意思，Sam 赶紧圆场说：“因为你是很有才华的人”，让李佩玲听了开心回应：“所以我选对人了。”

一直很想出一首唱跳歌曲的李佩玲，此次在《新年一家乐Happy Together》圆了唱跳心愿，但她也直认边唱边跳着真的很喘。首次唱新年歌的 Lovell 则坦言很压力，还因担心破音，私下请男友 Fuying 指导歌唱技巧，不料却被对方以“你已经唱得很好”打枪，让她忍不住控诉：“你以为有歌手男友很好？可是他都没有教我。”

身为 Wellous 代言人的羽球前奥运会银牌得主吴柳莹第一次演唱新年歌外，还是第一次尝试跳舞，她看完 MV 后笑称：“那个是我吗？”并透露自己是在拍摄当天才知道有舞蹈，让她紧张得赶紧躲在房间练习。她先前宣布将在 2023 年 1 月的大马羽球公开赛结束后退役，提到未来会否转战演艺圈，她表示不排斥任何的机会和可能性，而自己最想当演员，坦言：“虽然感觉自己有点不切实际，但我想演关于羽毛球或运动题材的，特别想让大家知道运动员背后的故事。”

由网红营销公司 Attitude Ideology 与 Wellous唯乐联合出品的《新年一家乐 Happy Together》，是《虎年新年到》作曲人 Adam 郑如川打造的另一首贺岁歌曲。Attitude Ideology 创办人肯林透露从歌曲筹备到完成MV拍摄，仅用了不到一个月的时间。艺人兼 Wellous 品牌总监 Wind 李诗斌则表示 MV 画面特别加入 Wellous 用户一家人的合照，并希望透过歌声陪伴 Wellous 用户庆祝兔年。

Kuala Lumpur, December 2022 - NCT DREAM, WayV, KARD, and ALICE will perform live at the SEEN FESTIVAL in Kuala Lumpur in 2023.  Fans of K-pop, rejoice! This January, prepare to see and be seen by your favourite idols at the ultimate K-pop experience!

SEEN FESTIVAL in Kuala Lumpur 2023, organised by CM Live, will feature a star-studded lineup including NCT DREAM, WayV, KARD, and ALICE taking the stage at Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil on 28^thJanuary 2023 from 6:00pm onwards.

NCT DREAM fans' dreams are coming true as the boy band is set to perform at the festival. They debuted under SM Entertainment in 2016 with the digital single Chewing Gum and turned heads with My Firstand Last and other hits. They are Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. NCT DREAM made K-pop history by becoming the youngest group to sell one million copies of their debut full-length album, Hot Sauce.

WayV, which stands for "We Are Your Vision," a boy group formed by SM Entertainment, has joined the festival lineup. They made their debut in 2019 with the digital single album The Vision and were named Best New Asian Artist at the Mnet Asian Music Awards the following year. Following their appearance at SMTOWN Live 2022 in August of this year, they returned in December with their fourth mini album Phantom.

KARD, an abbreviation of different "cards" assigned to each member - BM with the "King" card, J.seph with the "Ace",Somin with the "Black Joker", and Jiwoo with the "Colour Joker", debuted in late 2016 with the single Oh NaNa and subsequently made waves with Don't Recall, which gained huge popularity not only across Asia but also the Western world, indicating their star power across borders.

ALICE, a seven-member girl group, will also perform at the festival, with Do-A, Yeonje, Yukyung, Sohee, Karin, EJ, and Chaejeong representing the heart, wind, water, sky, forest, star, and moon, respectively. ALICE debuted in 2017 with the release of their first mini album WE, first, and is known for a variety of hits such as Pow Pow, Summer Dream, JACKPOT, Power Of Love, and DANCE ON.

 [Coverage] New Year Eve Countdown @ Symposium Mansion (featuring Namewee 黃明志)

Kuala Lumpur, January 2023 - It was an incredible way to end 2022 at Symposium Mansion, one of Petaling Jaya's nice nightlife spots! The evening featured mesmerising liveband performances, impressive DJs, and, most importantly, the presence of multitalented award winning "Ghosician" artiste Namewee 黃明志!

At around 1150pm (31/12/2022), Namewee took the stage to perform "飆高音" hitting a lot of high notes for the night and escalating everyone's mood to the peak! It was then followed by "漂向北方" which is probably his most famous song. Due to the absence of LeeHom Wang, he requested that the audience fill in for LeeHom's part of the song! The LIVE rendition of his song was filled with energy, thanks to the onstage guitarist, drummers, and instrumentalists!

Following that, he led the crowd in a countdown to 2023, which was met with joyous applause.

He began the new year 2023 with "不想上班" (Don't feel like working), which echoes the sentiments of many working-class people! He then went on to perform other popular songs such as "Tokyo Bon/Makudonarudo,""Thai Cha Cha,"and "Oh My God!".

It was an incredible night, and it was a memorable way to end 2022! It's time to greet 2023 with new hope and new resolutions!

[Upcoming Event] Accusefive (告五人) “Lost & Found” LIVE In Malaysia 6^th February 2023

Kuala Lumpur, 5^th January 2023– The three-piece group Accusefive (告五人), who are currently considered one of Taiwan's emerging talents, will dazzle listeners with their emotive and strong vocals at their one-night performance at the ZEPP Kuala Lumpur on February 6 at 8 p.m. Since their debut in 2017, this event, titled "Lost & Found,"will be their first live performance in Malaysia.

Accusefive, a band from Taiwan's northeast, was started in 2017 by lead vocalist and guitarist Pan Yun-an, singer Tsai Hsin-lun, and drummer Richard Lin. The band released its first mini-album, Son of Mist, in 2017 and they won the Best New Artiste at the 9th Golden Indie Music Awards.

They were nominated for Best New Artist and Best Band at the 31st Golden Melody Awards in 2020 for their 2019 album Somewhere in Time, I Love You. Easy Come, Easy Go, their album from 2020, was a contender for Best Band at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards in 2021.

Young netizens in particular are influenced greatly by Accusefive, and their music has a wide range of emotional resonance. Their works span urban folk, contemporary rock, dream pop, and new wave and exhibit distinct qualities. After releasing a number of music videos, including "Where I Lost Us,""Somewhere in Time," and "Miss You Day & Night,"each of which has over 20 million views on YouTube, the band achieved enormous mainstream recognition. The song's associated hashtag on Weibo has 44 million views, and the music video for their single, "Take me with You,"has been seen more than a million times on YouTube.
