Genting Highlands, June 2017 – Just recently, our team has taken part in witnessing the colourful activities during Genting International Children’s Festival! It was a great event and we are sure that the kids would enjoy being at Genting Highlands!
Genting International Children’s Festival was held from 27th May 2017 till 11th June 2017. The event carries the tagline, “art, dance and music” and was a great visual feast whereby the guests get to enjoy the carnival atmosphere.
The activities which have taken place at SkyAvenue are namely “Cheers & Pom: Cheerleading” which was held at Level 1 of the mall, “Storyland: Cosplay Meet & Greet” at Level 2 and “Street Beats: Brass Ensemble” at Level 3. The other two activities were “Paradise: Forest Fairies Ballet Dance”at First World Rainforest and “Boulevard’s Parade” at Genting Grand Open Car Park.
All of these activities surely had caught the affection of not just the kids but the adults who love music and cartoons characters.
Awesome Beats On Street!
Real Life Cartoon, Comic and Anime Characters Wandering Around???
We personally really enjoyed “Street Beats: Brass Ensemble” and “Storyland: Cosplay Meet & Greet”.
“Street Beats: Brass Ensemble” entertained us with great beats and songs like “Uptown Funk”, “Happy” and etc with the performance by street musicians playing drums, trombones and trumpets. It was really fun and joyous!
“Storyland: Cosplay Meet & Greet” on the other hand made a lot of people’s dreams come true as everyone get to meet the cartoon, comic and anime characters come to live. This activity sees the presence of prominent characters like Goku, Naruto, Hatsune Miku, The Joker, Harley Quinn, Chun Li, Beauty (Belle) and The Beast and etc being cosplayed and touring around in SkyAvenue.
Apart from meeting and greeting the guests, we also get to watch these characters dance. Most importantly, we are able to take selfies and photos with all of these beloved characters!
Resorts World Genting always try their best to make Genting Highlands an even greater tourism spot for travelers. Their efforts are really appreciable and we really love it! Trust me, if you are looking for a place to travel to in Malaysia, Genting Highlands is definitely one of the main spot you shouldn’t miss! Let’s come on up and enjoy!
