JJ Lin Mesmerizes 50,000 Fans at “JJ20 Final Lap” Concert in KL Despite Downpour

KUALA LUMPUR, 2025– Even torrential rain couldn’t stop Mandopop icon JJ Lin (林俊杰) from lighting up Bukit Jalil National Stadium with his long-awaited “JJ20 Final Lap World Tour” concert on 10th May 2025. Making his grand return to Kuala Lumpur after more than two years, JJ was met by a sea of 50,000 passionate fans who braved the weather for a night filled with music, emotions, and unforgettable memories.

As the concert began, anticipation filled the air. Fans came prepared with ponchos and umbrellas, fully committed to enjoying the show come rain or shine. Midway through the performance, the skies opened up and heavy rain poured down, but that did not deter either the audience or the singer. JJ, ever the professional and heartfelt performer, continued singing with powerful vocals and dynamic choreography, running and dancing across the rain-slicked stage. 

One of the evening’s most heartwarming moments came with the surprise appearance of Malaysian singer Rynn Lim (林宇中), who joined JJ on stage as the concert’s special guest. Injecting humor into the rainy night, Rynn knelt in mock apology, jokingly blaming himself for the weather. Laughter rang out from the crowd, especially when Rynn cheekily promised to stop the rain—and miraculously, the downpour did begin to ease shortly after. The duo shared a warm moment as they performed their 2020 collaboration, “Rose” (《抢玫瑰》), a nostalgic duet that symbolized their long-standing friendship.

Adding to the sentimental atmosphere, JJ’s mother was also in attendance, allowing the singer to celebrate an early Mother’s Day in Kuala Lumpur with her present in the audience. This personal touch only deepened the emotional connection between the artist and his fans, making the night even more meaningful.

The show featured an impressive setlist of over 30 songs, spanning JJ’s two-decade-long career. Crowd favorites such as “江南,” “关键词,” “不为谁而作的歌,” and “修炼爱情” had fans singing along passionately, with every lyric resonating throughout the stadium. 吉隆坡, 2025—— 大雨也挡不住林俊杰的音乐魅力！新加坡华语天王于2025年5月10日（星期六）在吉隆坡武吉加里尔国家体育场盛大开唱，展开他万众期待的《JJ20 Final Lap 世界巡回演唱会》大马站。这是他时隔两年再度回归吉隆坡，吸引了多达五万名粉丝共襄盛举。

演唱会一开始就气氛热烈，观众们早已准备好雨衣与雨伞，无惧风雨，全情投入在音乐的海洋中。演出途中，天空突然下起倾盆大雨，但这丝毫没有打击歌迷们的热情，也没有让JJ停下脚步。他以坚定的声音对台下粉丝喊道：“我会一直陪着你们！”感动全场。尽管舞台湿滑，JJ仍旧以满满的热情奔跑、跳舞，将每一首歌曲都演绎得淋漓尽致。
