Joyce Chu Love’s Journey Tour Ends in Kuala Lumpur with Emotional Homecoming Show

Kuala Lumpur, 2025 - Joyce Chu wrapped up her Love’s Journey concert tour with a heartfelt finale in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—an intentionally chosen location to mark her triumphant return home after ten years in the industry.

The concert, held over two hours, was an emotional rollercoaster filled with vibrant performances and genuine interactions. Joyce 朱主爱 (previously also known as 四叶草) —delivered a well-rounded showcase of vocals, dance, humor, and storytelling. Although she kept the mood light with jokes about her past experiences working solo overseas, she couldn’t hold back tears during the encore song “好想你” (“Miss You”), giving a deep 90-degree bow to her fans and parents in gratitude.

Celebrating a Decade of Growth

Despite being labeled as “cute” and “cheerful,” Joyce confidently expressed that she has grown far beyond these early impressions. Her choice of three contrasting stage outfits told the story of her evolution—from a sweet princess look, to a rebellious chic, and finally to a mature, modern woman. She seamlessly navigated unexpected situations during the show, including a ukulele malfunction and minor lyrical slip-ups, charming fans with her professionalism and poise.

The concert opened with her breakout hit “Malaysia Chabor,” leading into songs that mirrored her growth and experiences. She performed “老公公老婆婆” from her Produce Camp days, melancholic pieces like “剩” and “窗” written during the pandemic, and more. It was a night where everything—good or bad—felt at ease, thanks to the comfort of being home.

Joyce also showed off her Malaysian pride with colloquial terms like “jialat,” “geli,” and “pekcek,” drawing laughter and cheers from the audience.

The energy soared as Joyce stepped off stage to interact with fans—blowing kisses, dancing, and even kissing a male fan’s hand. Longtime supporters raised her rare albums as tokens of their admiration. The highlight of the night was her duet with longtime friend and guest artist Danny Koo (许佳麟). Together, they performed a romantic rendition of “Eloping to the Moon” (“私奔到月球”), hand in hand beneath a sea of LED lights—a truly unforgettable moment.
